Jesus’ questions opened doors Jesus was the master teacher. He asked

questions that made people stop and think and examine their partial understandings about God and the nature of the Kingdom of God.

He also told parables. Jesus taught that way so people could discover the truths of the Kingdom of God when they sought God with all of their hearts.

Searching the Word for the truth is an expression of faithfulness to God

10As soon as it was night, the brothers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. 11Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. 12Many of the Jews believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.

In the Garden

I come to the garden alone,While the dew is still on the roses; And the voice I hear, falling on my ear,The Son of God discloses.

And He walks with me,And He talks with me,And He tells me I am His own;And the joy we share as we tarry there,None other has ever known.
