1. inner peace60 days after the terror in Oslo happened, images
taken from thesame night only a few km from the killingsimages and
story by kenneth lyngaas
2. Hatred is never appeased by hatred in the world: it is
appeased by love. This is the eternal law The Buddha
3. there is a time to heal the sorrow and to feel compassion
with allthe people who lost their beloved onesin the difficulties
of all time
4. the day of horror came to Oslo when a big bomb exploded
inthe middle of the city people was in chock
5. - some hour later on the island Utya young innocent
politically interested people shot dead with no possibilities to
escape
6. - I was a witness the total damage in the city center as I
arrived only 2 minutesafter the explosion my subway station is just
200 from where it happened
7. - in the evening I was to restless to sit inside I decided
to do walkingmeditation to calm my mind and try to gain a momentum
of inner peace
8. - just a few blows from my home is the famous Vigeland
Sculpture park I took my camera with me and found inner peace
9. - my journey started her at the park entrance
10. - Norway did a marvelous good this that sad day they
decided to concur hate with love and bydoing so they acted the
opposite what the terrorist hoped who are to make people
scared
11. - but if we forget the spiritual development
12. - it lies with each of us
13. - responsibilities does not lie with the leaders
14. - and peace starts with within us
15. - when a community is in a state of peace
16. - it can share that peace with neighboring communities
17. - when we do so we feel love and kindness towards
others
18. - for all living beings and the nature around us
19. - what is important is to take responsibilities
20. - peace can only last where humans rights is respected
21. - where nations are feed
22. - and where individuals and nations are free
23. - inner peace can only be achieved trough the development
of mental peace
24. - material progress is important for human advancement
25. - then we get clinched to things and our mental health
suffer
26. - we must seek for balance in life
27. - Buddha found out the hard way in life tried to overcome
suffering
28. - this balance Buddha referred to as the middle way
29. - when you have inner peace all eternal problems does not
affect you
30. - without inner peace whatever how wealthy or successful
you might be
31. - you may still be worried, disturbed or unhappy
32. -my words on inner peace was based on the Nobel lecture
1989, 14th Dalai Lama
33. - there are some simple guidelines on what we should not
do
34. - not to destroy life
35. - not to steal
36. -in this park there is a famous angry boy sinnataggen with
great buddha nature
37. - he says; you will never be punished for your anger
38. - you will be punished by your anger
39. - and as I am walking out of the park I remember: we are
what we think
40. - all that arises with our thoughts
41. - I know a lot of people who do not share their happiness
and that is sad
42. -thousands of candles can be lit from one single candle and
the life of the candle
43. - will not be shortened, happiness never decreases by being
shared
44. - these words are dedicated to my brother who left us
earlier this year
45. - and to all those who left lost their most beloved
ones
46. - in the difficulties of all time
47. - you have my most humble and deepest respect
48. - and I felt satisfied and greater because I decided to
follow some- advice by others to do a simple form for meditation by
walking
49. - and as you can see there are almost nobody out that
night. Thatemptiness helped me with greatness to become silent
inside
50. -- everybody should now and then just turn off all your
digital equipment and leave home, for a second or a year, the
length does not matter, only that you have started developing the
inner peace by being with yourself
51. - this is my story from the emptiest park and town in the
world that night. So always try to look for a positive side in
everything negative
52. - and as time passes memories fades away like water in a
river but the feeling of that day will always stay with us
53. - Thanks to Buddha for his wisdom and wisest words and
toDalai Lama for carrying the deepest wisdom to everybody on this
planet
