I have handed out hundreds and hundreds of recorded CDs

I do it all the time, maybe not every day but often multiple times each week

People always thank me! People come back to me and tell me

what a difference it made in their lives How do I do it?

I know we are supposed to love people But -it helps to like people, too Liking people means I talk to people

About what they are doing What is interesting to them What is exciting to them About what their problems are

When I talk to people, I listen to what they say Are they talking about their troubles? This is

an opportunity to tell them how Christ helped me!

If they are planning on getting married, I tell them that people who pray together stay together

Everything in life is impacted by God. I just take the time to tell people how How do I take a day to day conversation and

bring up Christ?

If you are not used to bringing Christ into a conversation, it can seem like a hard thing to do

It works best to watch someone do it, but I think I can also give you a short-cut that always works for me

I ask people if they are involved in a church If they mention they have just moved, are married,

etc. I will say, “Since you have moved or been married, etc., have you gotten involved in a church?”

I have NEVER found anyone offended by my question.

When I ask them this, I am prepared. Here are the common responses and how I respond.

I have done this so often that it is as easy as breathing!

Keep in mind, people usually like to talk and they like to talk about themselves

They may say all types of things… I go to church... I used to go to church… I have thought about finding a church… I don’t think churches are run right… I like church… I don’t like church… Whatever they say...

I make a positive comment if they attend or say I understand if they don't . And then I immediately talk about the key issue.

“You know, a hundred years from now what will really matter is what you do with Jesus.” I pause…

People always affirm that a hundred years from now things that matter today will not matter.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ.

I always have handy a copy of the Bible in One Hour.

It is a condensation of the entire Bible. It allows them to hear the whole message and see Christ, what he did and what it means to them.
