Some try to supply the least amount they can!

Our worship to God must be a “sacrifice”! Romans 12:1-3

• Jesus complaint… “…My house shall be called a house of prayera house of prayer, be ye have made it a den of thievesa den of thieves.” Mt. 21:12-13 cf. Is. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

• Must give our best to the Master, not the leftovers. Mal 1:7-8; 2:1-2; 3:8-9

• Worship must be offered God’s way not man’s way. John 4:24; Mt. 15:9– Nadab and Abihu were destroyed because

they did not worship God’s way. Lev. 10:1-3

• Worship to God must be done with reverence and Godly fear. Heb. 12:25-29

• True Worship is to glorify God in our body and our spirit which belong to God. 1 Cor. 6:18-20

• Be dedicated to serve God always.

• True Worship costs the sacrifice of our: – Whole heart (mind) 1 Cor. 14:15; Mk. 12:30– Time to be spent with the church Acts 2:42,

and God in private time Mt. 6:6; James 5:13– Efforts singing Eph. 5:19, prayer Acts 2:42,

study Acts 17:11, giving money 1 Cor.16:1-2, Eating the Lord’s supper 1 Cor. 11:23-ff

Counting the Cost of True Worship!

• Is your worship costing you anything?• Are you offering your body as a living

sacrifice to God? Romans 12:1

• Are you paying the proper price in your worship or robbing God? Mal. 3:8

• Let us examine ourselves and be sure we are worshiping in spirit and truth!

Jesus Paid the Greatest Price So We Could Worship Him!

• Lifted up for us… John 12:32-33; 3:16-17

• We’re to live for Him now… 2 Cor. 5:15

• Must get into Christ, to be priests for God.
