Option 3 The final section of Article I – Form shall read: All persons who affirm their commitment to live as followers of Jesus Christ and agree to the covenant of this church, and who have attained the age of 14 years, shall be eligible for membership in this church. The final clause of Article III – Governance and Ministry, Section 2: Executive Council, shall read: Members of the Executive Council, the Treasurer, Commonwealth Trustees, and other officers described in the Bylaws shall be active members of the Congregation who have received the sacrament of baptism and shall have attained the age of 21. Option 4 The final clause of Article I – Form shall read: All persons who affirm through baptism or statement of intent their commitment to live as followers of Jesus Christ and agree to the covenant of this church, and who have attained the age of 14 years, shall be eligible for membership in this church.
