Our Missionis to provide children of all ages with a happy, healthy and educational place to come to learn, play and grow.

We believe that when children are regularly placed in the right environment and are involved in wholesome, educational

and supervised activities, they can be better prepared to properly and successfully navigate life’s course.

We seek to enable children to develop into well-rounded individuals, with healthy living

habits, strong social and communication skills, and most importantly, the highest morals.

Together, with the help of our community,WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

The Children’s Network of Southwest Florida is the not-for-profit Lead Agency for community-based care in Southwest Florida, providing services and programs for children who have been

placed in foster care. The agency also serves families that are at risk of abusing their children.

STATISTICS1,677 children in child welfare system

121 new children came into the system in July 2009

191 children are available for adoption

1,032 hotline reports of abuse in July 2009

79 children aged out of foster care and are in the independent living program

o All foster children have suffered from abuse, neglect or abandonmento Many children exhibit challenging behaviors and may have emotional

problemso The children are from diverse cultures and ethnic backgroundso The children range from newborn to 18 years of age

Early Childhood Education & Therapy Center Step by Step is an inclusive not-for-profit organization, which has been assisting children, and their families,

in Collier County for more than 25 years.

Step by Step is an early child care and education program that provides all young children, regardless of their diverse abilities, a safe, nurturing environment that supports their social, emotional,

cognitive, language, and physical development.

o Offers a unique learning and development program

o Believes in and supports full and successful access for all children to education with special services, including:- Occupational Therapy - Physical Therapy- Speech & Language Therapy - Behavior Therapy- Art and Music - And other programs

and designed a dynamic course surrounded with tropical foliage, sparkling lakes and connecting bridges.

o The distinctive 27-hole course is meticulously manicured and features strategically placed lakes and bunkers and contoured greens with subtle rolls and breaks that will definitely hold your attention.
