• Offer Assemblies that Edify:– What is their first exposure to the gospel?– Do the see the love of Christ? (John 13.34-35)– Does it draw everyone closer to God? (1

Corinthians 14.25)

• Nuture the Members:– From babes in Christ to spiritually mature. (1

Peter 2.2-3)

Our Congregational Responsibility

• Strengthen our Relationship with God:– We cannot share what we do not have.– We can always improve:

• Paul knew he could improve. (Philippians 3.10-15)• Peter knew our lives must be increasing. (2 Peter

3.18)

Our Individual Responsibility

• Strengthen our Relationship with One Another:– Our love and personal relationships are

examples. (John 13.34.35)– Our relationships can always be improved:

• Paul knew this – 1 Thessalonians 4.9-10• Peter knew this – 1 Peter 1:22

• Strengthen our Relationship with the Lost:– “People do not care how much you know until

they know how much you care.”– Jesus ate and spent time with the lost.

• being hospitable and inviting them.
