Turn in your Bible or “big scripture” to Romans 1:18.

Page 5: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

Who incurs the wrath of God?

Page 6: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness

and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Page 7: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

How is it fair for God to pour out His wrath against ungodly,

unrighteous men (people) if they have never had a chance to hear

the gospel?

Page 8: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Page 9: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

How did God show Himself to ungodly, unrighteous men?

What specifically, did He show

them?

Page 10: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

20For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly

seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without

excuse:

Page 11: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

How do we know that they chose to reject God?

Page 12: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither

were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart

was darkened.

Page 13: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made

like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping

things.

Page 14: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

What were the results of their rejection of God?

Page 15: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their

own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Page 16: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

How did this “uncleanness” affect their belief systems?

Page 17: Further still -Romans Study--session 5

25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the

creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
