December 2013

Hello my dear Friends!

It is a great pleasure for me to share with you the very

special way that God has allowed us to end 2013. First of all,

I would like to thank all of you for time you spent in prayer for us, for your finan-

cial support, and I also want to thank all those volunteers who gave their time this

year to take care of the children and their strength to work in the construction. Of the

House of Our Dreams. On behalf of the entire team I thank you, you are a very

important and special part of this ministry.

Also we want to thank God because on November

23rd we celebrated our 20th anniversary. We praise

the Lord for sustaining us for 20 years in Medellin,

Colombia. We thank Him for the lives of all our

supporters, including those entities whose support

has been crucial for us such as “Asociación

Amigo”(Skövde Baptistförsamling), Ankarstiftelsen,

the Church “the Key,” Manos Abiertas, SMG Swiss

Mission Fellowship, YWAM VA, ICM, Dispronat ltda,

Fröjereds missionsförsamling; to different families

such as the Albertssons, Bertil Larsson, Rune & Elizabeth Jonsson, the Sandin Anderssons and

Karin’s nephews, the Andersson brothers & sisters, Borje, Sven y Åsa Erdtman, to our friends Char-

lotte Thedéen & Isabelle Wallin, Max Solórzano... this space isn’t enough to mention more of so many

special people and friends. Thank you for your prayers, for your donations, your visits and words of

encouragement to continue this work. On behalf of all children and staff thank you very much!

The dream of having a

permanent home built

for our children is

coming true. God is

building our dream!

So far we have around

60% of the house fin-

ished and we hope,

with the help of God, to have the first and sec-

ond floors ready by January so that when the

children return from Christmas vacation they

can settle into their new home - a place where

they can build dreams, improve their quality of

life and have a better space for growing up in a

family environment.

Building a Dream

There is still about 40% of the construction that

needs to be finished, and we are praying that

God will provide approx $60,000 USD to finish

the project. Thank you for your prayers.

Celebrating 20 Years of Faithfulness!

We are happy and proud of our children because they finished their school year with

great success. We received congratulations from the school teachers because many of

them occupied the top positions in their classes. Some had honorable mentions for

their academic achievements and for their good behavior.

Throughout the year our children participated in a

evangelism and discipleship project called PNG

(New Generation Project) which aims to make God

& His Word known to the children and to make

them grow in character and attitudes. NGP organ-

ized a camp to close this year and our children were

invited to participate. They stood out as the best

campers and were recognized for their good behav-

ior and wisdom. They also demonstrated good

knowledge of the Bible, ¡Praise the Lord!

We were also very

blessed by our

brothers from "Open

Hands" who invited

our children and

tutors to visit the

Tutucán park, one of

the most beautiful

in the region. Our children and staff could enjoy a

day of recreation, leisure and fellowship. This was a

gift for the effort they made in school, for their spiri-

tual growth during the year and a farewell of 2013.

The ministry of Bread for Life has also contin-

ued discipling youth and children who live in

area Flop Houses. They have distributed toilet-

ries to women, men and children living in

these houses and on the street. We thank all

people who visited

us this year and who

went with us to share

bread, chocolate and

prayers to the people

living in the streets.

This year was a great blessing and it was in difficult times when we could see the hand of God giving us

strength. He was always faithful! Our desire is that you can see the power of God manifested in your

life, and feel His love sustaining you in difficult times.

Let’s celebrate this Christmas Jesus Christ our Savior. Merry Christmas to all of you, we hope that 2014

is a year full of abundant blessings.

Enith

Finishing the year with wonderful news!

Estefania Garcia won first place in her class and Linda Luz

Ledesma second place. Our boy, Adrián Puche won first place,

and Andres Felipe ranked second.
