Easter Bonnet Tea First Congregational Church Of Long Beach 241 Cedar Long Beach 90802 Sunday April 5th 11:30am $25/adult $15/child First Congregational Church Of Long Beach would like to invite members of your church family to join us for an Easter Bonnet Tea Party on Sunday April 5th at 11:30am. The ticket price is $25.00 per adult and $15.00 per for ages 12 and under. One hundred percent of the money raised goes to support the Get On The Bus program(www.getonthebus.us). The Easter Bonnet Tea will include a host of delights plus you’ll have the opportunity to show off your Easter Bonnet. A prize will be awarded to the top two most creative Easter Bonnets. Ballots will be handed out during the Tea Party and all attendees will have a chance to vote. After the top two Bonnets are chosen, they will be auctioned off to be used as Easter Center Pieces. To purchase tickets for the Easter Bonnet Tea Party please contact Mary Flynn at 562-432-2887 or [email protected]. Get on the bus facilitates Mother’s Day visits between the incarcerated and their children. The program offers free transportation for the children and their caregivers to the prison, provides travel bags for the children, comfort bags for the caregivers, a photo of each child with his or her parent, and meals for the day (breakfast, snacks on the bus, a special lunch at the prison with their parent and dinner on the way home), all at no cost to the children’s family. The Get On The Bus team at First Church sponsors an entire bus and provides chaperones for the prison field trip.
