Jesus is not only my Lord and my Savior,

but He is also my very dear friend.

You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you (John 15:14–15 ESV).

What does Jesus ask us to do? “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12 ESV).

Before Jesus departed, He told Peter to feed His sheep. You can read about this in John 21:1–17 and about some of the exciting adventures of Peter being a witness for Jesus in Acts 1–12.
