Right Mindset:

We are giving to The LordThe Lord; not the church; not the preacher; not even the needy; The LordThe Lord.

We give willinglywillingly; not grudgingly nor boastfully.

We give what we havewhat we have, not worrying about what we can't give.

Page 6: Exodus 35a

Giving doesn't have to be money or stuff.

God just wants all of you.

6

Spirit, soul, and bodyAll that you areare and all that you

havehave and all you can dodo

God never asks anything of usof us, which He has not firstfirst given to us.

10 And every wise-hearted among you shall come, and makemake all that the Lord hath commanded;

Verses 11-19 lists all that they had to make.

7

Wise-hearted = intelligent, skillful, artistic

God gave them the talent;

Use it for His Work.

Page 8: Exodus 35a

There was much work to be done.

8

Different people had different talents;

Page 9: Exodus 35a

Do you see yourselfsee yourself as a giver and a doer?

9

Or do you see yourselfsee yourself as needy, with nothing to give

and no ability to do?

Recognize it, appreciate it, and give some back.

God has given to us all -- in abundancein abundance -- that which He wantsHe wants us to give or do.

Page 10: Exodus 35a

We all need to evaluate ourselves honestlyhonestly.

10

It's too easy to sayeasy to say, "I can't." or "I don't have."

"I don't have time."

No child of God need be uselessneed be useless in His Kingdom.
