Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed arethose who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

for they will be filled.

for they willreceive mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for theywill see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for theywill be called children of God.

Those who speak the truth.Those who do not slander. Those who do no evil to their friends.Those who do not take up a reproach against their neighbors.
