Ehi Passiko - Come and See

Ehi Passiko is one of the qualities of the Dhamma. The Dhamma, unlike the teachings of other religions, does not require blind faith. The Dhamma invites one to come and investigate to see and experience for oneself. It does not fear examination or critical analysis.

That’s what I do in my work – R&D

Panca Kanda - 5 Aggregates

Look through your eyes, conceptualize with your mind

This world is not a perfect place. There is so many things you can create to make life better.

The story of Suppabuddha  "You are only a poor man, living on

what you get by begging, with no one to fall back on. I can give you immense wealth if you deny the Buddha, the Dhamma and the Sangha – King Sakka

"I am certainly not a poor man, with no one to rely on. I am a rich man; I possess the seven attributes which the ariyas possess; I have faith (saddha), morality (sila), sense of shame to do evil (hiri), sense of fear to do evil (ottappa), learning (suta), generosity (caga) and knowledge (panna).- Suppabuddha

We all have the potential to be successful

It Pays to be Mindful

Akusala was the stumbling block to my success

Keep a Calm Mind

The mind is excitable and unsteady;it is difficult to control and to restrain. The wise one trains his mind to be upright as a fletcher straightens an arrow

– The Buddha Story of Thera Meghiya… he was assailed by thoughts associated with the senses, ill will and cruelty (kama vitakka, byapada vitakka and vihimsa vitakka).

I stayed focus on my projects

Khanti - Patience

We should not get too disturbed abt why bad guys are rich and good guys are poor?

Be patient?

Kamma ripen when the condition is right

If not this life, we’ll be rewarded in the next life

Page 16: Dhamma makes the difference

Dealing with Hatred

Hatred is not overcome by hatred. It is overcome by LOVE. This is an Eternal Law.

Page 17: Dhamma makes the difference

Buddhist are Happy People

Avoid wrongdoing, Do good and Purify the mind,

This is the teaching of Buddhas.

Let go when it’s dead

I've gotten past the killing of [my] sons, have made that the end to [my search for] men.I don't grieve,I don't weep....It's everywhere destroyed — delight. The mass of darkness is shattered.Having defeated the army of death, free of fermentations I dwell.

- Kisa GotamiI give it-up if my idea are worthless

Pleasure Vs Happiness

In my 20s I want to be reborn as a Jew

In my 40sI do not to be reborn again

In my 30s I want to be reborn as the Chairman of Sime Darby

Page 20: Dhamma makes the difference

There is too much Ego in us "Give your ears" said the Buddha, "the

deathless is found. I shall instruct you. I shall teach you the Dhamma".

The 5 Bhikkhus tried to resist, but who who could hold out against an awakened one?

"By practicing as you are instructed you will, by realizing it yourself here and now through direct insight-knowledge, enter upon and abide in that supreme goal of the holy life for the sake of which men of good family rightly go forth from home to homeless"We got to get rid of “I”

Page 21: Dhamma makes the difference

Anatta - Non-self

The Lord Buddha teaches that both "we ourselves" and everything else in this world are compound phenomena, which just come into existence temporarily when conditions are right, continue to exist for a time, changing continually disintegrate or decomposed and are no longer in existence.

Sabbe Sankhara anicca

Sabbe Sankhara dukha

Sabbe dhamma anatta

Which mean; All compound phenomena are impermanentAll compound phenomena are sufferingAll phenomena are non-self

TIP: if one can understand such nature, then you can understand the working of Anicca
