James 1:12  Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. 

James 1:13  When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 

James 1:14  but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 

James 1:15  Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. 

James 1:16  Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. 

ESV James 1:12  How blessed is the man who

endures temptation! When he has passed the test, he will receive the victor's crown of life that God has promised to those who keep on loving him. 

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.(NIV)

a. Satan is most gratified and laughing at you

b. weakens your spiritual strength to resist next temptations 

c. relationship with God becomes less exciting and enjoyable 

d. prayers are hindered

CONSEQUENCES a. God is so gratified and filled with happiness b. You make yourself stronger and immovable ready for next temptations for God’s greater gloryc. Your relationship becomes more enjoyabled. You will have a lot of amazing answered prayers when you overcome temptation

e. serving God becomes a burden and difficult

f. ministering to disciples diminishes in power and anointing resulting in neglecting them eventually loosing them 

g. your Christian testimony before others may be a “ stumbling block" ( when you foolishly show  ) 

h. There is no reward

CONSEQUENCES e. Serving God gets  more enthusiastic f. Ministering to disciples increases in power and anointing resulting in greater fruitfulness g. You have testimonies to disciples which are big encouragements to them to overcome temptations h.  You will be rewarded with crown of life in heaven

Romans 8:13  For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, 

2Corinthians 2:11   in order that Satan might not

outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. 

Matthew 4:3  The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread." 

Matthew 4:4  Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' “ 

Galatians 5:16  So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 

Galatians 5:17  For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 

James 1:12  God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. 

Mark 12:30  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 

2Chronicles 20:22  As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. 

James 5:15  And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 

James 5:16  Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective
