THE FALL

God created man and woman in his images and likeness and He made them friends of himself.

He intended for them to live in friendship and happiness with Him in Earth knowing and loving Him

And then they would be take to heaven, where they will be happy with Him for ever

But when Adam and Eve freely chose to turn away from God and rejected his friendship, they lost His Grace and their Sin was pass on to all people.

So humans born Not in a STATE OF FRIENDSHIP with God, but in State of SIN

THE MERCY AND PROMISE OF GOD

Sin has caused a terrible problem, and it is a problem that we can not solve for ourselves and our own strength.

Remember our human nature is hurt, and we born with concupiscence: we have a tendency to sin.

So, the only one who can solve the Sin problem for us, is God. because He is the only one who have the grace. We don’t have it; we lost it by sin.

But don’t worry, The Story Of Creation did not ended in tragedy, desperation, or sadness. But in HOPE!

God himself enter the scene, and shows us his mercy by giving us hope.

God responds to the sin of humans is not to abandon them, but to show them Mercy and Love.

When God tells Adam and Eve the consequences of sin, He also promised them to send a SAVIOR.

God the Father promised that sin and evil will not prevail and all descendants of Adam and Eve will defeat and overcome Sin. (Gen 3:15; Gen 12:13)

THE PROMISE SEED: JESUS God created the world out of

love, and He always loves his creatures even when they sin.

God response to sin of humanity with generous Love, and a promise of a REDEEMER.

This promise is called the 1st Gospel, because it is the first hint of the Good News of our Salvation in Christ.

Here we learned the depths of God’s Love for his

children, and the length he will go in order to

save them

JESUS MESSAGE

Jesus became man and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,

For us men and for our salvation, Jesus came down from heaven and give us this message:

“God Our Father in heaven, created you and He Loves you and want you with Him in Heaven.”

WE ARE NO MERELY PRODUCT OF EVOLUTION

Pope Benedict XVI:We are not some causal or meaningless product of evolution. Each of us is Willed! Each of us is Love! Each of us is a thought of God! Each of us is necessary!

Remember Man is the summit of God’s creation. Everything in the Creation was created and prepared for man and woman and for them to use and enjoy.

Page 7: Creation lesson #4

EVERY MAN IS GOOD

After God created everything else that is in the world, (air, plants, sea, animals, etc.) he said: “it’s Good”

But after God created man he said: “it’s Very Good” Every single man is good. Everything that God made is good, because He is

good.

We may be sinners, yes!; but sinners by our own choice.

Our WILL is free, we can freely choose to love or not to love, to do good or bad.

Remember we all are Good because “Our real essence” is good; we are made at God’s image and likeness.

Page 8: Creation lesson #4

EACH OF US IS A UNIQUE THOUGHT OF GOD Remember our real essence is good. If we believe that each of us is important, and each

of us is necessary…

Then, We going to think about ourselves differently. And We going to think about others very

differently, too.

We will treat others with dignity and respect We will treat each person as a very unique thought

of God. Our life become meaningful and find its purpose.

JESUS HAVE BEING WITH US SINCE THE CREATION. The gospel of John tells as that

Jesus is the WORD, and He is God, who has been with us since the beginning: In the beginning was the

Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was

with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were

made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1)

Page 10: Creation lesson #4

WHY DID THE WORD BECAME FLESH?

The Word became flesh to save us from sin and reconcile us to God. For God so love the world that he gave his only Son, so that

everyone who believe in him not perish but might have eternal live (John 3:16)

God became man that we may partake in the divine nature. “He has bestowed on the precious and very great promises, so that through them you may come to share in the divine nature” (2 Pt 1:4)

ST PAUL WROTE A LETTER TO THE CORINTHIANS

Christ Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For in him were created all things in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers;all things were created through him and for him.

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he himself might be preeminent.

For in him all the fullness was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile all things for him, making peace by the blood of his crossthrough him, whether those on earth or those in heaven (Corinthians 1:15-20)

GOD HIMSELF BECOMES MAN IN ORDER TO SAVE US.

By God becoming man, shows us His love, more than any other work of God—even the work of creating the world.

We can be certain of God’s love without any shadow of doubt. Because He didn’t spare even His only Son in order to save us,

when we His children were lost in Sin.

God Himself became a man in order to save us.

At the end of His time on earth, Jesus offered His life to the Father as a Sacrifice: for sin— our sins.

Page 13: Creation lesson #4

JESUS FULFILL THE PLAN OF THE FATHER

Jesus offered His life to the Father as a Sacrifice: for our sins. By this Act of Jesus restored the friendship between God and

the Human race, that have being broken when Adam and Eve sin.

The Fathers plan from the Beginning was that we share in His life of self giving love for all the Eternity

This is why He created the world and everything in it, for us.

By dying for us in the cross, Jesus wan back all that Adam and Eve had lost through sin,

And he fulfill the Plan that the Father had have in the beginning for us—To share in His divine life.

Page 14: Creation lesson #4

THE STORY IS NOT OVER, YET!

Now that the friendship between God and man is restored, It is possible to have God’s life in us.

CAUTION!: Maybe we are tempted to think that this is the end of the story, after all the problem has been resolved, and that’s when a story usually end,

But There Is More! There is something need it, and other person to come at the scene.

But what is need it? Hasn’t Jesus done it all? Well, Yes! but what is needed: is a way for the

GRACES Christ has wan for us, to get to us.

And this is the Work of the 3rd person: “The Holy Spirit”.
