MEDITATION“The practice of concentration on a single subject(or the use of one technique) is the best way toprevent the obstacles and their accomplishments.”~ Patanjali Yoga Sutras: 1:32

Meditation is a very important step in yogic practices. It is the heart of yoga. One goes beyond the mind, memory and intelligence and merges with the higher consciousness, the soul.

Meditation brings inner strength, confidence, and the ability to grow as a person. It helps you to meet all kinds of situations and challenges with confidence and a clear mind.

“By cultivating attitudesof friendliness toward thehappy, compassion for theunhappy, delight in thevirtuous, and disregardtoward the wicked, the mindstuffretains its undisturbedcalmness.”~ Patanjali Yoga Sutras: 1:33

The practices of meditation will especially help during labor, a time when you need to really focus on one thought, rhythmic breathing, and surrender.

After all, life should be a continuous meditation with total surrendering to cosmic consciousness.

Labor is the culmination of the process of pregnancy in creating a miracle child. It is the grand finale.

It’s important to understand the physiology of the process of labor and then to let nature, your instincts, and your nurse and physician working together to achieve this amazing feat.
