Principles Of Effective Prayer

Types Of Prayer

Adoration – This is praise focusing upon who God is, His nature and character.

Confession – Acknowledging my sins before God and asking for His forgiveness.

Thanksgiving – Expressing gratitude to God for specific acts.

Supplication – Expressing our desires and making specific requests to God.

five benefits in the new covenant.

• In faith, declare that God is your provision in these areas...

1) Our Father which art in heaven• Picture Calvary and thank God you call Him,

“Father” by virtue of the blood of Jesus.

3) Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done

• Yourself and your family.

Pray for…

• Your church.

• Your nation.

• Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

4) Give us this day, our daily bread

• Be in the will of God.

• Believe it is God’s will to prosper you.

• Be specific and tenacious.

5) And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. • Ask God to forgive you.

• Forgive and release others.

6) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

• Loins girded about with Truth.

• Breastplate of righteousness.

Put on the whole armor of God…

• Shield of faith.
