• Christian Help was founded in March of 1992 by Dick and Madge Wilson when they sold their gift shop in Altamonte to follow the call of God into full-time Christian Ministry, along with Harry Kunisch.

• We are supported by Individuals, businesses and a few Churches.

• To prevent Homelessness by helping the unemployed find jobs while providing for them materially and spiritually.

• Christian Help uses every resource God provides to prevent homelessness. The most important and successful one being prayer.

• Job Leads and Referrals• Job Fairs• Food Bank• Christmas Program

• Recognized as the most productive Private Permanent Placement Agency in Central Florida by The Orlando Business Journal since 1999.

• Produce the President’s, Governor’s, Mayor of Orange County’s and Mayor of Orlando’s Job Fairs. These and two Central Florida’s Job Fairs are the largest in Central Florida. Over 60,000 people have found jobs at them since 1994.

• Founded the Central Florida Employment Council in 1994. Today over 800 employers belong to this organization.

• Opened a new Food Distribution Center in December, 2002. Given away over 6 Million pounds of food.

• We have provided Christmas for the children of families who could not provide for themselves since 1993.

• That no child in Central Florida should go without Christmas.

• That no family in Central Florida should be put out on the street.

• That no family in Central Florida should live in darkness.

• Selected as a model Faith-based program for the White House in 2003.

• Selected as one of the top ten Social Entrepreneurial organizations in the United States by the Manhattan Institute in 2004.

• Selected as the outstanding Faith based organization in the Southeast at the National Conference of Faith Based and Community Initiatives in Los Angeles in 2006.
