Being Set Apart

Seeing YâHuWsHúa is what being Set Apart is all about. Servants ( Nätzräya), in its purest form, is nothing more than imitating him whom we see. To see his majesty and to

imitate him, that is the sum of being Set Apart.

Page 2: Being set apart

He who runs a race

He who runs a race, must never stop short of the end, but press forward as fast as he can; so

those who have his Kingdom in their view, must still press forward to it, in Sacred desires and

hopes, and constant endeavours. Eternal life is the gift of YHWH, but it is in YâHuWsHúa

HaMaSHiYaCH; through his hand it must come to us, as it is procured for us by him.

Page 3: Being set apart

Adulterers!

Don’t ye discern that the friendship of the world means hostility to YHWH? Therefore, whosoever might will to be a

friend of the world is constituted an adversary of YHWH!Yâhuwchânâ´n the Immerser would never get hired today.

No church would touch him.He was a public relations disaster.

He "wore clothes made from camel's hair, had a leather belt around his waist,

and ate locusts and wild honey"

Page 4: Being set apart

And Yâhuwchânâ´n was dressed in camel hair clothing, with a belt of leather around his loins, and eating locusts and wild

honey;

Who would want to look at a guy like that every Sabbath?

His message was as rough as his dress:a no-nonsense, bare-fisted challenge to repent because YHWH was on his way. Yâhuwchânâ´n the Immerser set himself apart for one task, to

be a voice of YâHuWsHúa Everything about Yâhuwchânâ´n centred on his purpose.

Page 5: Being set apart

Yâhuwchânâ´n became the one immersing

His dress.His diet.

His actions.His demands.

You don't have to be like the world to have an impact on the world.

You don't have to be like the crowd to change the crowd. You don't have to lower yourself down to their level to lift them

up to your level.Sacredness doesn't seek to be odd.Sacredness seeks to be like YHWH.

Heed your Calling

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, [and] I

ordained thee a Navi unto the goyim

Who separated me from my mother’s womb

Him whom I acknowledge as the YHWH of nature and the YHWH of grace; who preserved me by his providence when I was a helpless infant, and saved me by his grace when I was

an adult persecutor. For some useful remarks on these passages see the introduction,

Be a witness to the Call to being the sent one

But I certify you, achim, that the good news which was proclaimed of me is not after man. For I neither received it of

man, neither was I taught [it], but by the chazon (revelation) of YaHuWsHua Maschiyach. For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Yahadut' (Judaism), how that beyond measure I

persecuted the assembly of Aluahymn, and wasted it: And profited in the Yehudim' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. But when it pleased Aluahymn who separated me

from my mother's womb, and called [me] by His Chen v'Chesed, To reveal His Son in me, that I should proclaim him among the

Goyim; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Page 8: Being set apart

Trust means to let go of the driving wheel of life, to hand over to YHWH, and Trust,

How often have I cried to him , not understanding “why it is” When Dawyid wrote this Tehillim, he saw the suffering and glory of our Mashiyach

Tehillim 22Eli, Eli, lי'amah aza'vtani?

why art Thou so far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring? O Aloha, I cry in the daytime, but Thou hearest not;

and in the night season, and am not silent. But Thou [art] set apart, [O Thou] that inhabitest the tehillot Y’Isra’al.Avoteinu

trusted in Thee: they trusted, and Thou didst deliver them. They cried unto Thee, and were delivered: they trusted in Thee, and

were not confounded. But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people

Page 9: Being set apart

All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying], He trusted on YHWH that he would deliver Him: let Him deliver Him, seeing he delighted in Him. But Thou [art] he that took me out of the womb: Thou didst make me

hope [when I was] upon my mother's breasts. I was cast upon Thee from the womb: Thou [art] my Aluahymn from my mother's belly. Be not far from me; for trouble [is] near; for [there is] none to help. Many bulls have compassed me: strong [bulls] of Bashan have beset me round. They gaped upon me [with] their mouths,

[as] a ravening and a roaring lion.

Mashiyach in Suffering and Glory

Page 10: Being set apart

Mashiyach Yâhuwshúa''s Crucifixion

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of

my bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and Thou hast brought

me into the dust of death. For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me. They part my garments

among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

Page 11: Being set apart

But be not Thou far from me, O YHWH :

O my strength, haste Thee to help me. Deliver my nefesh from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog. Save me from the lion's mouth: for Thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.I will declare Thy Name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise Thee. Ye that fear YHWH praise Him; all ye the seed of Yaakov, glorify Him; and fear Him, all ye

the seed of Y‘Isra‘al. For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from Him; but when he cried unto Him, he heard. My praise [shall be] of

Thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear Him. The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall

praise YHWH that seek Him: your heart shall live le-olam-va-ed

Page 12: Being set apart

These words strengthen me, and yet make me humble, reach out to me, yet hold me in his arms,

All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto YHWH and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Thee. For the kingdom [is] YHWH‘s

and he [is] the governor among the nations. All [they that be] fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before Him: and

none can keep alive his own nefesh. A seed shall serve Him; it shall be accounted to YHWH for a generation. They shall come, and shall declare his tzedek unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done [this].

Page 13: Being set apart

Why this isolation?"Maybe these are dry, difficult days for you. It could be that

YHWH wants to reveal YâHuWsHúa HaMaschiyach to you in a fresh way. For that to happen, He may do to you what He did to Yâhuwchânâ´n the apostle when He sent him to Patmos…At one hundred years of age, Yâhuwchânâ´n was exiled to Patmos—a rocky, barren, seemingly YHWH-forsaken island. It was a tough situation, and, no doubt, Yâhuwchânâ´n questioned what was going on. "I'm old," he could have said. "I've trusted in YHWH.

I'm linked to Him.

Page 14: Being set apart

When he saw YâHuWsHúa HaMaschiyach

Yâhuwchânâ´n started writing. Twenty-two chapters later, the Book of Revelation was complete. When was revelation given to Yâhuwchânâ'n´?

When he was isolated on an island.Perhaps you're at a point where you're saying, "Who can I talk to?" or, "What counsel can I receive?"—when The Mashiyach may have you on

an island of isolation for a season in order to give you a revelation of YâHuWsHúa HaMaschiyach . Don't bemoan your condition. Don't bewail

your situation. Worship HIM. Draw close to HIM. Be still—and you will see Him in ways you never would have had you been anywhere else.

Yirmeyahu was "appointed" by YHWH as his "prophet to the nations." YHWH has a purpose for each of us, we are also called to do witness for YHWH. Whatever work you do should be done for the glory of YHWH,

we are bonded and sealed in Fellowship with our Father and each other

Page 15: Being set apart

Fellowship of the Good News

Philippesios 1:3I thank my Aluahymn upon every remembrance of you, Always in

every tefillah of mine for you all making request with joy,For your fellowship in the good news from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a

good work in you will perform [it] until Yom YaHuWsHua HaMaschiyach: Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds,

and in the defence and confirmation of the good news, ye all are partakers of my grace.

Page 16: Being set apart

For Aluahiym is my witness

How greatly I long after you all in the bowels of YaHuWsHua HaMaschiyach. And this I pray, that your

love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till ha Yom Maschiyach ; Being filled with the fruits of tzedakah, which are byYaHuWsHua HaMaschiyach,

unto the glory and praise of Aluahiym.

Page 17: Being set apart

The Good News

But I would ye should understand, achim, that the things [which happened] unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the good news; So that my bonds in Mashiyach are manifest in all

the palace, and in all other [places];And many of the achim in Aluahiym, having the confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear. Some indeed proclaim Mashiyach

even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: The one proclaim Mashiyach of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am set

for the defence of the good news. What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Mashiyach is proclaimed; and I therein do rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.

Page 18: Being set apart

Focus of the Good News

For I know that this shall turn to my deliverance (help) through your tefillah, and the supply of the Ruakh YaHuWsHua Maschiyach ,According to my earnest

expectation and [my] hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but [that] with all boldness, as always, [so] now also Maschiyach shall be magnified in my body,

whether [it be] by life, or by death. For to me to live [is] Maschiyach, and to die [is] gain.

Page 19: Being set apart

This [is] the fruit of my labour:

But if I live in the flesh, this [is] the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am torn

between two desires, having a desire to depart, and to be with Maschiyach; which is far better:

Nevertheless to abide in the flesh [is] more needful for you. And having this confidence, I know that I

shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith; That your rejoicing may

be more abundant in YaHuwsHua Maschiyach for me by my coming to you again.

Page 20: Being set apart

The Emunah of the Good NewOnly let yourselves behave worthily of the Good news of Mashiyach: that

whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the good news; And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of deliverance, and that of Aluahymn.

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Mashiyach, not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake; Having the same conflict which ye saw in

me, and now hear [to be] in me.When YHWH gives you a specific task, accept it cheerfully and do it with

diligence. If YHWH has not given you a specific call or assignment, then seek to fulfil the mission common to all believers

to love, obey, and serve YHWHuntil his guidance becomes more clear.

Page 21: Being set apart

Or have we forgotten what is written in his word

4 Bamidbar 23:9For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I hinei him: lo, the

people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.

With YHWH in your world, you aren't an accident or an incident; you are a gift to the world, a divine work of art, signed by YHWH.

What makes it unique is the signatures. The same is true with us. In the scheme of nature Homo sapiens are not unique. We aren't the only creatures with flesh and hair and blood and hearts. What makes us special is not only our body but the signature of

YHWH on our lives. We are his works of art. We are created in his image to do good deeds. We are significant, not because of what we do, but because of

whose we are.

Page 22: Being set apart

[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Maschiyach YaHuWsHua who walk not after the flesh, but after

the Ruakh.

For the Torah of the Ruakh of life in Maschiyach YaHuWsHua hath made me free from the Torah of sin and death.

For what the "law" could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,

Aluahymn sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

That the tzedakah of the Torah might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Ruakh.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Ruakh the things of the Ruakh. For to be carnally minded [is]

death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.

Page 23: Being set apart

Whereby we cry, Abba, Father.Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against Aluahymn for it is not subject to the Torah of Aluahymn neither indeed can be.So then they that are in the flesh cannot please Aluahymn But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Raukh, if so be that the Raukh of Aluahymn dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Raukh of Maschiyach, he is none of his. And if Maschiyach [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Raukh [is] life because of tzedakah. But if the Raukh of him that raised up Yeshua from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Maschiyach from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Raukh that dwelleth in you. Therefore, achim (brethren), we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Raukh do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Raukh Aluahymn , they are the Benai Aluahymn For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Raukh of adoption,

Page 24: Being set apart

The Raukh itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of Aluahiym

And if children, then heirs; heirs of Aluahymn, and joint-heirs with Maschiyach if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together. For I

reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest

expectation of the HaBri'ah (Creation) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of Aluahymn For HaBri'ah (Creation) was made subject to vanity, not

willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected [the same] in hope, Because HaBri'ah (Creation) itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of

corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of Aluahymn For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Raukh, even

we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.

Page 25: Being set apart

Hope, faith , belief

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for [it].Likewise the Raukh also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what

we should pray for as we ought: but the Raukh itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Raukh, because he maketh

intercession for the set apart ones according to [the will of] Aloha

Page 26: Being set apart

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Aluahymn to them who are the called according to [his]

purpose.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many achim (brethren). Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If Aluahymn be for us, who [can be] against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Aluahymns elect? [It is] Aluahymn that justifieth. Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Maschiyach that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of Aluahymn , who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Maschiyach? [shall] tzarah (trouble), or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Page 27: Being set apart
