whaT is eNdTime? In 1968, Irvin Baxter Jr. discovered the United States and other modern nations in the Bible. He also found the Berlin Wall in the Bible and that one day it was to be torn down, re-uniting Germany, and that event would be the catalyst to spark an international movement called the “New World Order.” These things have now come to pass. Irvin Baxter Jr., a Pentecostal minister, began Endtime Ministries in 1986 when he wrote A Message For The President, a book explaining the major prophecies of the Bible which he had been teaching since 1968. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, prophetic fulfillment accelerated rapidly. The decision was made to launch Endtime magazine. The purpose of the magazine is to explain the prophecies of the Bible and to show that they are now being fulfilled in intricate detail. Articles focus on the soon return of Jesus Christ, the truth of the Bible, and the need for salvation. Endtime does not deal with doctrinal controversies, as valid as they may be. Silence

We all know that politicians love to talk. Do they ever love to talk! That’s what makes the silence so deafening! Nobody’s talk-ing about it!

Here we are in the throes of Congressional elections, and you can’t get anybody to talk about it! I’m talking about the most important issue facing the nation of America since its birth.

By now perhaps you’ve guessed. But, then again, maybe not. This issue has been avoided like the Asian flu, the Bubonic Plague and Leprosy all rolled into one.

I’m talking about the fact that every American will be numbered within the next eighteen months. That’s right. I’m talking about the end of freedom! I’m serious! We are facing the end of the American way of life! And nobody is talking about it!

The purpose behind this new law is to give the government the ability to track each of us, 24-7. These new national ID cards will be required to board an airplane, drive a car, hold a job or open a bank account. If you refuse to be numbered, for all practical purposes, you will cease to exist! All of this is going to happen to you within the next eighteen months…and nobody is talking about it!

We contacted some of the politicians running for office. “Where do you stand on the national ID card?” we inquired.

“Oh, I don’t think that’s passed yet,” came the evasive reply. Or, “The Senator is not available right now, but we’d be glad for you to leave a voice message.”

This one was really classic: “There is no national ID card. And besides, the pro-gram is voluntary.” We suppose it is voluntary if you don’t want to drive, fly, work a job or have a bank account. But if you have to buy food, pay your house payment, support your family…if you want to exist, then it’s not voluntary.

May I ask a disturbing question? How many stump speeches did you hear con-cerning the national ID card that is being forced upon the American people within the next few months? I was just wondering, because I didn’t hear one! No inter-views on Fox, CNN, NPR…NONE!

Why the conspiracy of silence? Now that’s a good question!When is all this coming down? By May 11, 2008, but shhh…don’t tell anybody.

Euphrates River to Be Dried Up üIn revelatIon 16:12, the Bible predicts that the Euphrates River will be dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the east to invade Israel. This will happen at the time of the battle of Armageddon according to verse 16 of the same chapter. The battle of Armageddon will be the final battle during which Jesus will return and fight on the side of the nation of Israel. Immediately thereafter He will establish His kingdom and usher in His one-thousand-year reign of peace. On January 13, 1990, the Indianapolis Star carried the headline “Turkey Will Cut Off Flow of Euphrates for One Month.” The article stated that a huge reservoir had been built by Turkey. While filling up the reservoir, the flow of the Euphrates would be stopped for one month and a concrete plug for a diversion channel built. These things have now been done. With this newly built dam, Turkey has the ability to stop the Euphrates River at will. The conditions for fulfilling this 1,900-year-old prophecy are now in place.

China Goes to War üIn revelatIon 9:15-16, the Bible prophesies that an army of 200 million soldiers will launch a war which will kill “the third part of men.” Never in the history of the world until our present generation has there been a power on earth that could field 200 million soldiers. However, the late ruler of China Mao Tse Tung boasted in his diary that he could field an army of 200 million. The CIA World Factbook reported that in the year 2001 it was estimated that China had 200,866,946 men of military age and that this number is growing by 10 million per year.

Worldwide Numbering System Predicted üIn revelatIon 13, the Bible prophesies that a world dictator will soon rule over a world government. He will cause all people on the earth to receive a number without which they will be unable to buy or sell. We are seeing this prophecy fulfilled before our eyes in a most astonishing way. Nearly every human being in the world has now been assigned a number. In America, it is our Social Security number. In the past few years, we have seen this number extended to newborns. A child without a Social Security number cannot be declared as a dependent on an income tax return. We have seen the emergence of electronic money, shopping with credit cards, and many people actually urging the abolition of cash. All of these things could not possibly have been fulfilled until this present time. Only after the invention of the computer could such a worldwide numbering system be administered.

The Emergence of a New World Order ürevelatIon 13:7 and danIel 7:23 prophesy the establishment of a world government. The term “New World Order” has become a prevalent phrase in the world’s political culture. Mikhail Gorbachev made the term famous, and Pope John Paul II referred to it repeatedly. In the September 12, 1990 issue of the Chicago Tribune, our former president George Bush said, “Iraq is the first test for the New World Order.” He emphatically stated that the Iraq War was Saddam Hussein against the world. The United Nations’ troops are continually referred to as the multi-national forces. The decision has been made to establish an interdependent community of nations that will rule the world under United Nations authority. The Bible says that this will lead us into a great world government. The formation of this government is at hand.

Coincidence or Divine Providence? üIs It coIncIdental that all of these major prophecies pertaining to the last times are being fulfilled simultaneously? Hardly!

holy sPiriT wiThdrawN?Seems you do not hold to a pre-tribulation rapture belief (nor do I). That said, how can the Holy Spirit be withdrawn if Chris-tians are still on earth?

rePly| I find no place in Scripture that states that the Holy Spirit will be with-drawn during the Great Tribulation. By reading Matthew 24:22-31 we know that the elect will be present until the time that Jesus sends his angels to gather them together unto Him (the Rapture). The terms “elect” and “election” are used numerous times in the New Testament in reference to the Church. According to 1 Peter 1:2, the elect have the operation of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Furthermore, Jesus promised in John 14:16 that the Comforter (the Holy Ghost) would abide in believers forever. 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8 speaks of an entity that holds back the revealing of the Antichrist. Some people teach that the thing that “now letteth (restraineth)” is the presence of the Holy Spirit in the world. There is nothing in this passage that supports such an interpre-tation. The clue to the correct identity of this entity appears to be found in verse 6, “that he might be revealed in his time.” The thing that restrains the revealing of the Antichrist is God’s very own timeline. Just as Jesus, the true Christ, was not revealed until “the fulness of time was come” (Gal. 4:4), the false christ, the man of sin, will not be revealed until God’s timeline dictates it.

whaT’s The differeNCe?For those of us in Texas who already have to give out our social security number and our thumb prints, how is the National ID different for us than obtaining our driver’s license? Personally, I don’t want this new ID, but I have to do these things already for my driver’s license and have been

doing them for years. Please let me know what you think about this.

rePly| There are two major ways in which the national ID will be different than your current Texas driver’s license. First, it appears from the Real ID Act as well as other pending legislation, that you will not be able to board planes, trains, or buses without the National ID. You will not be able to enter any Federal building. You will not be able to open a bank account and you will not be able to hold a job. Today, a driver’s license is required for none of these things. Second, one of the stipula-tions of the National ID is that a state’s database must be linked to a national da-tabase of personal information. This is not a federal requirement of existing driver’s licenses in Texas.

reigN of The aNTiChrisTWhere does the Anitchirst reign in the last three and a half years of the tribulation?

rePly| According to 2 Thessalonians 2:4, the Antichrist sits in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Revelation 11 makes clear that a 3rd Jewish temple will be built in Jerusalem. It appears that this temple in Jerusalem will be the one from which the Antichrist makes his blas-phemous claim. Daniel 11:45 also states that the Antichrist will “plant the taber-nacles of his palace...in the glorious holy mountain.” Although it is possible that the Antichrist will only use Jerusalem as a temporary place of rulership, it seems likely that in his masquerade as the real Christ, he will choose to reign in the very same city that the Lord Jesus Christ will reign from—Jerusalem.

light of today’s events, might that not be an army of Islam?

rePly| Absolutely! The scripture you refer to is found in Revelation 9:16. It speaks of an army of 200 million that is responsible for killing one-third of mankind during the 6th trumpet war. Mao Tse Tung, the late leader of China, once boasted that he could field an army of two hundred million soldiers. As a result, many have believed that an army from China would likely fulfill this prophecy. However, in recent years, the rise of fundamentalist Islam has opened the door to the possibility you mention. Some estimates now state that about 600 million fundamentalist Muslims live in our world. An army of 200 million soldiers could certainly be mustered from such a large group of people. Furthermore, the scriptures make clear that the 6th trumpet war will be born out of the area of the Euphrates River - the location of modern Iraq and Iran. Both of these nations are known hotbeds of fundamentalist Islamic terrorism. In addition, Iran is in feverish pursuit of nuclear weapons, which indeed pack the power to destroy one-third of mankind, in fulfillment of the scriptures. It remains to be seen how the fulfillment of this prophecy will unfold, but your suggestion is a distinct plausibility.

The milleNNial reigNWho will be with Jesus during the millen-nial reign? Will all the righteous whose bodies were buried be raised to meet him in the sky and descend to reign as priests with Christ on this earth?

rePly| The Scriptures speak of two dis-tinct groups of people who will reign with Christ during the millennium. In I Thessalo-nians 4:16-17, Paul states that “the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” John speaks of this same event in Revelation 20:4-6 and calls it “the first resurrection.” He states that those who are part of the first resurrection will

be priests of God and will reign with Christ for one thousand years. He goes on to say that the rest of the dead will not live again until the end of the millenium.

daNiel’s 70Th weekDo you have a video that explains Daniel’s 70th Week?

rePly| Daniel’s 70th week is the final seven year segment of time described by Daniel in Daniel 9:27. According to this prophecy, this final seven year period will be initiated by the confirmation of a covenant by the Antichrist. In addition, the abomination of desolation, which occurs 3 1/2 years into this final seven year period, marks the beginning of the Great Tribulation. Endtime Ministries devotes an entire lesson to this important period of time in the lesson entitled, “The Final Seven Years.” This is available on DVD and Audio CD.

eu flag aNd maryAt one of your conferences, you showed a flag that had the image of the Virgin Mary with twelve stars around her head. This was on a field of blue. I have tried to find this flag and haven’t been successful. Do you have a photo of this flag?

rePly| Actually, what you refer to is not a flag, but one of a number of pictures (see bottom right) that depict Mary on a blue field of twelve stars. The one on page 6 was found in a chapel in Brussels, Bel-gium — the home of the European Union. The one on the bottom right is taken from Catholic iconography. This is significant, in that both pictures bare a striking resem-blance to the flag of the European Union (bottom left). This comes as no surprise, since Arsene Heitz, the designer of the Eu-ropean Union’s flag, revealed to Lourdes magazine that his inspiration for the flag came from the reference to the “woman clothed with the sun.” mentioned in Rev-elation 12:1. According to Catholic inter-pretation, the woman mentioned there is the Virgin Mary. This connection between the Catholic Church and the European

Union is just one example of the revival of the Holy Roman Empire and the fulfillment of Bible prophecy that clearly states that in the last days a one-world government, consisting of a political leader and a spiri-tual leader, will dominate our world.

NaTioNal id = mark of The beasT? How is getting a National ID, that is in essence a piece of paper, receiving the “mark” of the beast? I won’t be wearing the paper on my right hand or forehead.

rePly| It isn’t - yet. The National ID is not the Mark of the Beast. Revelation 13:16 states clearly that the false prophet will cause people to receive a mark in their right hand or forehead - not just a card. However, the implementation of a National ID card in the US and other nations is a huge step forward in implementing this final satanic plan of enslavement for mankind. It has been said that the way to boil a frog is not to throw him into a pot of boiling water, but to place him in a pan of cool water, and to turn up the heat slowly. The frog will be comfortable, and before he realizes it, he is cooked. Likewise, the devil and the political instruments he uses realize that launching a program that requires people to receive a mark in their right hand or forehead would not be read-ily accepted by the masses. So, as a step in that direction, we have the National ID, which will be a mandatory piece of identi-fication containing biometric data that is linked to a national database of sensitive personal information. Twenty years ago, such a proposal would have been met with great opposition, but in the aftermath of the horrific terrorists attacks of 9/11, the opposition wanes and the demand for increased security increases. China’s Taiwan Af-fairs Office spokesman Li Weiyi said China is paying close attention to Chen’s plans. China considers Taiwan part of its territory that must be reunited, by force if neces-sary.

uN Chief warNs of global war over religioN, says oNly uN CaN solve world’s ProblemsSecretary General Kofi Annan delivered his final address to the United Nations General Assembly this week. During his speech, Annan spoke of the insensitivity towards other people’s beliefs and those who seem eager to foment a new war of religion on a global scale. He also said that there was no other conflict which carries such a power-ful symbolic and emotional charge among people far removed from the battlefield as the Middle East conflict. Annan says he is convinced that the only answer to this di-vided world is a truly United Nations.

bush: woN’T allow a NuClear-armed iraNPresident Bush said that he won’t allow a nuclear-armed Iran, which he said would blackmail the free world and raise a mortal threat to the American people. Bush has pledged to work closely with other govern-ments to find a diplomatic solution, but he also stressed, “The world’s free nations will not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weap-on.”

Kevin Chilton said there has been insuffi-cient investment in cyber security at all lev-els of the U.S. government, and the United States has a duty to secure “the entire space domain not just for our own military but for our allies and for the benefit of the free world.”

eu PlaNs To ease baNkiNg mergersThe European Commission has plans to facilitate cross-border mergers between banks. Existing rules allow member states to block certain proposals, but the new plan would make blocking harder to do. The stricter conditions will make it harder for member states to prevent takeovers of domestic banks by foreign banks. It is hoped that if more finance mergers were allowed to go ahead, the EU would be able to better compete with the U.S.

germaNy To make eu CoNsTiTuTioN a PrioriTy NexT yearGermany’s foreign minister has said that reviving the EU constitution will be a prior-ity of his country’s EU presidency next year. Frank-Walter Steinmeier said “We need a constitution as soon as possible.” He said the constitution is needed for the benefit of better representation in foreign policy and security issues.

eu seT To TighTeN seCuriTy measures aCross The bloCNew security measures could be introduced across the EU following the exposure of the recent terror plot in the UK. A mini-summit of EU justice ministers discussed several proposals including the tightening of hand luggage checks in airports, the blocking of some websites, more exchange of informa-tion on air passengers and teaching of Eu-ropean values to Muslim preachers.

A much more serious problem is that the law makes citi-zens vulnerable to identity theft because states will be required to link databases containing sensitive personal information. He was 18. At age 14, Jacobs appeared on NBC’s Today show after his family agreed to be implanted with a VeriChip identifica-tion tag.

big broTher is shouTiNg aT youBritain’s first ‘talking’ CCTV cameras have arrived. The system allows control room operators who spot any anti-social acts to send out a verbal warning shaming of-fenders and publicly berating bad behavior. “Its one thing to know that there are CCTV cameras about, but it’s quite another when they loudly point out what you have just done wrong,” said Jack Bonner, who man-ages the system.

house bill To require voTer id A measure requiring voters to show pho-to identification at the polls passed the House. The Federal Election Integrity Act was approved by a 228-196 vote. The bill faces an uncertain future in the Senate. The choice of the new UN leader has generated more than a little interest among people who understand the prophe-cies of the Bible and the times in which we now live. The United

Nations is the only organization designed to be a system of global governance—the UN term for world government. Since the Anti-christ will rule over a world government and since the prophetic fulfillments that are to accompany the ascendancy of the Antichrist are converging right now, the question begs to be asked: Will the newly chosen Secretary General Ban Ki Moon preside over the UN during the reign of the Antichrist or some would even dare to ask—could he be the An-tichrist himself?

who is baN ki mooN?Ban Ki Moon received his bachelor’s degree in international relations from Seoul National University in 1970 and earned a Master of Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at

Harvard University in 1985. His supporters say that Ban is a consummate mediator and a world-class administrator. He sees himself as a harmonizer, balancer and mediator.

“My tenure will be marked by ceaseless ef-forts to build bridges and close divides,” Ban told hundreds of diplomats and UN staff members after the General Assembly ratified his selection as leader of the world govern-ment body. “Leadership of harmony not divi-sion, by example not instruction, has served me well so far. I intend to stay the course as secretary general,” Ban said.

Ban has had a long affiliation with the UN, dating back to his time as a staff member of the UN division of the South Korean Home Office in 1975. He also worked as chairman of the preparatory commission for the Com-prehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organi-zation in 1999 while he was South Korean ambassador to Austria. For the last two and one-half years, he has been serving as South Korea’s foreign minister.

During his campaign for Secretary Gen-eral, Ban expressed strong and unequivo-

cal support for the International Criminal Court—the recently formed permanent world court with the power to prosecute in-dividuals from anywhere on earth (including you). He also supports the “Responsibility to Protect,” which states that the world commu-nity has the right and even the responsibility to interfere in the internal affairs of a nation if the international community decides that genocide or crimes against humanity are be-ing committed by the government of that na-tion. The concept of humanitarian interven-tion was accepted in principle at the 2005 UN Heads-of-State Summit. It is the first time the UN has openly claimed the right to violate the sovereignty of nations.

Ban also reiterated his support for the Mil-lennium Development Goals that were set by the UN Millennium Summit in the year 2000. The targets, which were designed to redistrib-ute wealth from “have” nations to “have not” nations, are supposed to be attained by 2015. der to achieve these goals. The new secretary general has promised to pursue these global goals with energy and determination.

Outgoing UN leader Kofi Annan hailed Ban as “a future secretary-general who is exceptionally attuned to the sensitivities of countries and constituencies in every con-tinent” and said he would be “a man with a truly global mind at the helm of the world’s only universal organization.”

is iT Time for The aNTiChrisT?The Bible prophesies that a world govern-ment will be set up prior to the Battle of Ar-mageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus. A world-class politician, referred to in scrip-ture as the Antichrist or the Beast, will reign over that world government for a three and one-half year period immediately before Ar-mageddon (Revelation 13:5, Daniel 7:25).

According to Bible prophecy, several things will happen to set the stage for the appearance of the Antichrist. These include the confirm-ing of the Abrahamic covenant by the world community, a war that will kill the third part of men, the building of Israel’s Third Temple, and the establishment of a world economic system for controlling people and forcing their obedience to the world government and to the Antichrist himself. Are these things happening now?

world goverNmeNTThe formation of the world govern-mental system of the Antichrist is emerging all around us. We now have the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organiza-tion, the World Bank, the World Court, Inter-national Law, the World Police, and Interna-tional military forces. We are being told that all nations are now interdependent, that we must think globally and that globalization is inevitable.

Strobe Talbott, key advisor during the Clin-ton administration, said it most succinctly. He said, “The nation-state as we have known it will cease to exist in the 21st century. We will all answer to a single global authority.” Talbott was President Clinton’s roommate when they both attended Oxford University in London as Rhodes Scholars.

CoNfirmiNg of The abrahamiC CoveNaNTThe Abrahamic covenant is the covenant that God made with Abraham in Genesis 15:18. The covenant promised a homeland to the descendents of Abraham in the land of Israel forever. The confirming of the covenant will be done by the Antichrist and his one-world government system.

In December of 2002, the world commu-nity crafted a peace plan for the Middle East called the Roadmap for Peace. The Roadmap contains all the provisions of the prophesied confirmation of the covenant. The world community is still struggling to implement this plan.

world war iiiRevelation 9:13-16 prophesies a war that will kill one-third of mankind. The prophecy states that this war will emanate from the Eu-

phrates River. Most of the Euphrates is in the nation of Iraq. The United States has 145,000 troops stationed along the Euphrates at this time. Politicians and news commentators are increasingly calling the War on Terror, in which we are presently embroiled, World War III. Even President Bush recently referred to the War on Terror as World War III.

The Third TemPleThere has not been a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem since the Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Revelation 11:1-2 and 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 both prophesy that a temple will be standing on the Temple Mount when the An-tichrist begins his reign.

Over the last 20 years, the Temple Institute in Jerusalem has been preparing for the build-ing of Israel’s Third Temple. All the furniture and instruments of worship are complete. The decision has now been made to proceed with the building of the temple. The blueprints are being drawn at this present time.

forCiNg obedieNCe Through eCoNomiC CoNTrolThe Bible states that, during the great trib-ulation, human beings will be forced to have a number or a mark in order to be able to buy or sell (Revelation 13:15-18).

The law was passed and signed by Presi-dent Bush on May 11, 2005. It calls for every American to be issued an ID card by May 11, 2008. Without this national ID, an in-dividual will not permitted to hold a job or open a bank account. Without a job or a bank account, how much buying and selling will a person be able to do? Oh, by the way, you have to give your number—your social secu-rity number—in order to get your national ID card.

These prophetic fulfillments are just a small sampling of prophecies that demonstrate how near we are to the time of the Antichrist. (For a more complete explanation, see “Are We Approaching Armageddon?” Endtime Maga-zine, September-October 2006).

will The aNTiChrisT be The leader of The uN?It is a reasonable question. Since the United Nations is the only structure in ex-istence today that is designed to be a world government, and since the Antichrist will become the leader of the world, can we as-sume that the Antichrist will be the secretary general of the UN?

The Bible prophesies that the Antichrist will come out of a revived Holy Roman Em-pire, which should not be confused with the Roman Empire. In Nebuchadnezzar’s image described in Daniel chapter 2, the Roman Empire is depicted as the legs of iron. The Holy Roman Empire is symbolized by the feet of iron mingled with clay—the clay be-ing the religious element that was added to the Roman Empire in 800 AD. The ten toes of iron and clay represent the ten kings that will be in power at the very end of the time of human government. Daniel 2:44 says, “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never

be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

Daniel 7 describes the last secular power in another way. It describes the last kingdom as a ten-horned beast. Verse 24-25 says, “And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”

Since the Antichrist comes up among the ten horns, which are the same as the ten toes of Daniel 2, we are able to conclude that the Antichrist will come out of the Holy Roman Empire. The Holy Roman Empire is presently being revived in the European Union—that 25-nation federation with a population of 455 million people, which some have referred to as the United States of Europe.

So what does all this teach us about the origin of the Antichrist? We know for certain that he must arise out of a ten-nation union or ten-king union comprising a reconstruct-ed Holy Roman Empire. We also know that he will uproot three of these ten nations or kings as he ascends into power. Finally, we know that the Antichrist will dominate the entire world. Revelation 13:3 says that all the world will wonder after the beast (the Anti-christ). Verse 8 says, “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

What then are the conclusions that we can draw from all of this? It appears that the Antichrist will not originally rise to power through the UN, but rather will rise out of a revived Holy Roman Empire structure—however that is ultimately configured. At the same time, we know that he will eventually dominate the entire world, which means that he will end up controlling the world govern-ment structure known as the UN.

Understanding all of this, what role will Ban Ki Moon likely play in this entire end-time scenario? Since he has not risen to power through a revived Holy Roman Empire, since he has not come to power through a union of ten nations or kings, and since he doesn’t appear to have the dominating, charismatic personality that the Antichrist will apparently possess, it seems unlikely that Ban could be the Antichrist.

Ban is a world-class diplomat, and he is a dedicated believer in one-world government.

He was just selected to lead the world government system for the next five years. Traditionally, secretary generals have served two terms. If this proves true in Ban’s case, he would lead the UN for the next ten years, through the year 2016. With the time of the Antichrist obviously so near, the possibility is very strong that Ban will be the bureaucrat that presides over the day-to-day operations of the world government structures under the reign of the Antichrist. That itself is a pretty awesome thought! n

In the mid-1980’s, the Australian Hawke-Keating Labor government proposed the ‘Australia Card,’ which was nothing more than a national ID card. The pretense for imposing the Australia Card was prevention of tax fraud and illegal immi-gration. But to Australian citizens no reason was sufficient—a national ID is a national ID. At first, it seemed as though the

Australia Card would pass with flying colors. However, in the end, Aussies would not be fooled.

In an Australian-grown macadamian nut-shell, here is how it all came down. When the proposal of an Australian national ID card came up in the 1980’s, it was not new to the older generation of Auss-ies. Their minds were able to go back to WWII when they were given ID cards, a program which only lasted a short time. However, three decades later, talk of introducing a national ID began to resurface.

Public debate in Australia raged for quite a long time. Arguments for and against were volleyed back and forth. Those in favor said that a national ID was not an issue related to personal rights and free-doms. They focused on the perceived benefits, such as the ability to open bank accounts and travel with greater ease. They presented it in the neat package of patriotism by calling it the ‘Australia Card.’ Who

wants to be perceived as being anti-Aussie? At first it looked like the Australia Card would be implemented

without any problems because the opinion polls reflected public sup-port being at an amazing 70 percent in favor. However, it wasn’t long before Aussies began to grow suspicious and weigh the promised ben-efits against probable abuses by their own government. They began looking at the heart of a national ID system. The wake up call came as the awful reality began to ring home, that in order to have a national ID system, all Aussies would have to be numbered. The kicker came with the understanding that the national ID would be required for employment. With that, a public outcry began to emerge. This led to an organized campaign, which ultimately saved the day.

how did They do iT? Aussies took almost two years to protest the ‘Australia Card.’ According to Simon Davies of Privacy International, the Pri-vacy Committee of New South Wales, an Australian government agency, made a difference. In their privacy bulletin, they said the pro-posed national ID card was a tool for the centralization of power and authority within the government. Davies said, “Legal centers, civil

liberty councils, academics and advocates joined the opposition to the ID card plan. Over the next two years, a strong intellectual foun-dation was developed.

Victory did not come easily. The arguments against the card were not reported by the media since they were in cahoots with the gov-ernment. As a result, progress seemed very slow at times. If there was any hope for victory, they would have to work extra hard to make their voices heard. To the relief of many, the Australia Card was ulti-mately defeated because thousands of Aussie citizens bound together with one voice, which simply said, “Don’t number us!” The Famous Australian singer with Midnight Oil, Peter Garrett, called it “the greatest threat Australia has ever faced.”

To those in Australia who saw the looming danger and took mea-sures to stop it, we say, “Good on ya,” (Aussie talk for well done). So it’s a nice bit of victory to be chalked up in history for the good citi-zens of the land down under, but what about us Yanks?

eNTer The real id aCT. Folks, the Real ID Act is here! When it was passed into law in May of 2005, most people were oblivious to it. The majority had no idea of its potential danger. We were all just going to ‘take a shower.’ That’s what the precious Jewish people were told in Nazi Germany. If the Real ID Act is left unchecked, it will mean the death of freedom as we know it in America. Consider the very basic functions of life which you will not be able to perform without a national ID: You will not be employed; you will not drive, fly, enter any federal building, or open a bank account. Without a national ID card you will be a non-person, and the government won’t be there to bail you out because it will be the perpetrator.

is There hoPe for ameriCa? You bet! However, we can’t just sit silent and expect the planned national ID to go away by itself. It is up to the citizens of this great land we call America to see the Real ID Act repealed. I can tell you as Endtime’s director for the No National ID campaign, there is a growing awareness of the Real ID Act and all of its looming dangers in the U.S. Each week new articles emerge which testify to this grow-ing awareness. One such article, which recently hit the news wires, described a scene at the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) in which Senator Mitch Seabaugh, the Republican Majority Whip from Georgia, introduced a resolution which NCSL members voted to approve. The resolution demands Congress either find a way to pay for the Real ID Act, or repeal it by the end of 2007. In an inter-view with Senator Seabaugh on “Politics and Religion” (August 28, 2006), we learned about the growing awareness among lawmakers concerning the negative impact the Real ID Act will have on our na-tion. His ability to pass such a resolution proves that many state law-

makers are becoming unhappy about how the Real ID Act is being implemented. Why should they be happy about it? It does nothing to benefit the states and everything to turn the U.S. into a police state. Furthermore, the Department of Homeland Security has not issued formal requirements of the Real ID Act, and as of right now, it is up to state governments to find their own sources of funding. Pennsylvania is looking at over $80 million in cost, and California is looking at a whopping $500 million plus! Nationwide, states will have to foot a bill of $2.5 billion. That $2.5 billion will not come from the feds, yet the feds are forcing the issue. Mary may have broken the news to Joseph something like this:

“Joseph, have you ever read Isaiah 7:14?”

“Well, I’m sure I have,” Joseph may have replied. “Why? What does it say?”

“Here, read it,” Mary urged as she opened her Bible to the well-marked passage.

Joseph began to read, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

“Where is this going?” he wondered to himself. Looking at his fiancé, he said, “Okay. What about it?”

“Well,” Mary said, picking her words very carefully, “I think that scripture is talking about me.”

It took a couple of minutes for the implica-tions to sink in. “You’re telling me that you’re pregnant?” Joseph finally asked.

Mary nodded affirmatively, but hastened to add, “But I’ve never been with a man.”

Well, I’m sure you know the rest of the story. Joseph just couldn’t bring himself to believe such a fantastic story (even if it was in the Bible) so he decided to break their engagement. Finally, an angelic appearance

in a dream confirmed the words of Mary to Joseph, “Fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.”

When Joseph told Mary about the an-gelic visitation, she simply smiled sweetly, as though to say, “Here’s your sign.”

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to his disciples behind closed doors, showing them his hands and his wounded side. The disciples were very happy. But Thomas, one of the disciples, wasn’t with the others that day.

When they told Thomas about the visita-

tion by Jesus, he declared, “Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

A few days later, Jesus again appeared to his disciples. This time Thomas was there. Je-sus went straight to Thomas and said, “Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.”

On May 11, 2005, President Bush signed the Real ID Act, requiring every American to have a national ID card by May 11 of 2008. Without it, an individual will not be permit-ted to buy or sell.

Well, it doesn’t say it exactly that way. What it does require is that every person must have

an ID card in order to hold a job or open a bank account. But, of course, without a job and a bank account, how much buying and selling will a person be able to do?

Oh, by the way, you have to give your so-cial security number or you can’t get the card. Isn’t there something in the Bible about that? Don’t the prophecies speak of a time—right at the time of the end—when every human being will have to have a number, without which he or she will be unable to buy or sell?

This national ID, coming in 2008, couldn’t have anything to do with that 2,000-year-old prophecy could it?

irviN: Aaron Rus-so’s films have been nominated for six Academy Awards as well as seven Gold-en Globes, winning three Golden Globes. His latest production is a documentary, America: Freedom to Fascism and let me tell you, it will kick you in the stomach. I watched it all the way through. Aaron, welcome to Politics & Religion.

a a r o N : Thank you, glad to be here. I like the religious part, I’m not so sure about the politics part.

irviN: Gotcha. Well, great job on the documentary. I’ve just been thinking today, if everyone in America watched this docu-mentary, it would change our future and our country. I’m just glad you’re our guest on Politics & Religion today.

a a r o N : Well, I’m glad to be here. Thank you very much. I see your e-mails that you send out regularly. I like what you’re talking about because it’s very important that people in this country wake up to what’s happening. We have to spread the word. That’s why I made the movie. I mean, you can only do so much, and most people don’t read books anymore and so films are the way that you reach people. Films and television are how you reach people today. No one made a film like this and I figured it was about time someone dealt with all the issues we’re dealing with.

irviN: It’s fabulously done. You started out to investigate the rumor that there’s no law requiring Americans to pay an income tax. What started you down this path? What did you learn in the process?

a a r o N : Well, it’s really interesting because I’ve been hearing for years that there was no law requiring Americans to pay tax on their la-bor and I sort of dis-missed it, because I’ve been taught for so long that of course there’s an income tax. You know, taxes and death, those are the two things that are absolutely nec-essary. However, I’ve been hearing these rumors for so long that I decided I would investigate it. I called the IRS up wanting to talk to the com-missioner and they gave me the public relations person. I started asking some questions about the

Income Tax and he directed me to their web site. When I went to their web site to look it up, I didn’t see anything there about any law. I saw a lot of what I now call propaganda that makes you think you have to pay a tax, but I never actually saw a statute written by Congress that makes you pay a tax on your labor. So, know-ing that the IRS doesn’t write law, only Congress can write law, I decided to investigate it further. The more I investigated it, the more recalcitrant the IRS was, the more difficult they became, in a sense, and they didn’t want to show me any laws. So I decided to go ahead and make this movie because there was something wrong. As I started investigating it deeper and deeper, I began to uncover the truth and what happened is that I saw why there had been so many people saying that there is no law. The problem is, most people get caught up in the IRS Code, and to me the code was really irrelevant. It’s much more fundamental than the code, because what’s happened here is that in 1894, the government tried to pass a law requiring Americans to pay a direct, unappor-tioned tax on their labor and the Supreme Court said you can’t im-

Places” with Eddie Murphy. His latest production is the documentary, “America:

Freedom to Fascism.” This documentary graphically illustrates that America is

pose a direct a tax on the people like that and it’s unconstitutional. So, it stopped. In 1913, to get around what the Supreme Court said, they passed a constitutional amendment allowing them to do that. Of course, the amendment was never actually ratified le-gally, but let’s put that aside for the moment. So, they said the second amendment in 1913 allowed them to tax the labor of the people and for the next three years, they started taxing Americans. In 1916, two Supreme Court decisions came out that said the gov-ernment does not have legal authority to impose unapportioned tax on the people and it stopped in 1917. The Supreme Court is the ultimate arbiter of that.

irviN: So, you’re saying the income tax was stopped in 1917.

a a r o N : Yes.

irviN: Okay.

a a r o N : Yes, and so, because the Supreme Court is the final arbiter, the government had nowhere to go. As I was researching the movie, I discovered that the Federal Reserve System was also established in 1913, the same year as the IRS, the same year as the income tax. I found that kind of interesting. As I did more and more research, I discovered that in 1913, when the government gave the right to coin and make money to the Federal Reserve Sys-tem and took it from themselves, they then had to pay interest to the Federal Reserve System to coin, make, and issue the money. In order to pay them that interest, they imposed an income tax on people’s labor. They took the money from the laboring people and gave it to the wealthy bankers.

Craig: We should have listened to Abraham Lincoln, shouldn’t we?

a a r o N : Abraham Lincoln said it very well and the Constitution says it very well. The Constitution says that Congress has the au-thority to issue and coin money, not a private central bank. In the past I discovered both the graduated income tax and the Federal Reserve System (the central bank) are both planks out of the Com-munist Manifesto.

irviN: Now Aaron, slow down just a second right there because that’s a huge point. The Communist Manifesto put, I think, 10 stip-ulations that had to happen to a nation to move that nation from freedom to communism.

a a r o N : Right.

irviN: Two of those, as you’ve mentioned here were the establish-ment of a central bank and number two, of a graduated income tax because that’s the means whereby you redistribute wealth.

a a r o N : Exactly.

irviN: Okay, and so you’re telling me that the Federal Reserve is a central bank and that the graduated income tax, both of those planks in the Communist platform were entered into law, or at least were established in 1913.

a a r o N : Exactly, and that’s when America changed. That was the beginning of the end of the American Government as we know it today. I think today, after what happened last Thursday, that we’ve reached the end. Now we’ve got to restore the Constitution back to it’s proper place. I don’t think we can save it anymore, I think it’s time to restore it. It’s gone, and it’s our job as Ameri-can people and freedom loving people to shut down the Federal Reserve System and make sure it doesn’t exist any longer and restore our government to a government that’s for the individual, not for the institutions. If you went out on the street and you asked 100 people what kind of government America is supposed to be, 98% would say it’s supposed to be a democracy and that’s a lie. That’s not accurate. That’s misinformation that they’ve put on the people over the years and now we’re fighting for democracy in Iraq. No, we’re not fighting for democracy in Iraq. They use that word, they think it’s a positive word, but what we’re fighting for in Iraq is globalization, the New World Order. So, the difference be-tween a democracy and the constitutional republic that America is supposed to be is vast. When I explain it to people all of a sudden they wake up and say, “Oh my God, I never realized that before.”

irviN: Now, Aaron, would you be able, in the time we have right now, to give a nutshell definition of the difference between a de-mocracy and a republic?

a a r o N : Sure, I was about to. Absolutely.

irviN: All right.

a a r o N : In a democracy, 51% of the people control 49% and that’s not freedom. I wouldn’t want to be one of the 49%. That’s not freedom. That’s majority rules; it’s tyranny of the majority. In the constitutional republic that America was founded as, 99% of the people can’t take away the rights of 1%. You have rights be-cause you have God given human rights with which you were born. You have rights granted to you by God and no other person, no gov-ernment, nobody can take them away from you, they’re yours. The government gives you privilege under democracy and if they give you privileges, they can then take them away whenever they want to and they charge you for those privileges. When we did the open-ing in Denver the other night, I explained how the schools are now indoctrinating children. A teacher said, “Well, I don’t indoctrinate children.” I said, “Of course you do, you probably don’t even know it.” I said, “What kind of government is America supposed to be?” She said, “Democracy.” I said, “See, you’re wrong already. It’s a republic.” Then I explained the difference. She said, “Oh, my God, you’re right. I’ve been hood-winked as well and we’re hood-winking the children.” So, you know, people have to see the movie to wake up. The movie gets much deeper and because we’ve given the power of coining money to this private bank, they now control our government. As Rothschild said many years ago, “He who makes the money makes the rules. I care not who makes the laws of the country as long as I issue the currency.”

irviN: Do you know where that’s going to be in Dallas?

irviN: Well, your people kindly sent me a preview copy of it. I’ve watched it twice, ac-tually.

a a r o N : Did you like it?

irviN: Yeah, I love it.

a a r o N : Oh, good.

irviN: It’s riveting. It was fabulous. It just sort of grabs you by the throat and won’t let you go and it’s about a lot more than not paying taxes, it deals with the Federal Reserve, the Real ID Act, and the loss of freedom here in America, things that we desperately…

a a r o N : The New World Order.

irviN: Yeah, you did a wonderful service to us. I want to thank you for that and I want to say to all of our listeners out there, you’re going to enjoy it even while it’s sort of kick-ing you in the stomach.

irviN: I was talking to one of our staff members here at Endtime Ministries who had just been through your video, Aaron. He was talking about different aspects of it and the fact that, even though it’s a docu-mentary, it’s more like a film, in that it just sucks you through. It’s not a boring thing, by any means: it’s riveting. He was laugh-ing as he commented about it. He said one thing about it, “I watched the whole thing.” I said, “Well that tells you a lot.”

Craig: It will keep your attention. It will grip you.

a a r o N : I’ve been very fortunate to be skilled in making movies and one of the problems has been that a lot of those that I’ve done about the income tax and the police state in America, you know the kind of pedantic, the kind of boring, Federal Re-serve System, they’re sort of sophomoric. I try to make a movie that everybody in America could see and wake them up to the truth. There are many people who know what’s happening and there are millions who don’t. I made this film so that every-one who doesn’t know can learn and we’re having great success at that. The people laugh at the film, they cry during the film, they get despondent, they get outraged. It’s been the style that people sit by and they just enjoy it. I mean, they get riveted to the screen, they don’t move. We don’t get people who go to the bathroom during the movie, it’s amazing. We get standing ovations wherever we go. Of all of the films that I’ve made, by far and away this is my proudest moment.

irviN: Aaron, do you think that this could change the course of our country?

a a r o N : I think there’s no question if it gets out there. If people see the movie, there’s no question. I’ve seen enough re-sponse from people. We’ve previewed it in many cities. We’ve tested it. The response is overwhelming. It’s unbelievable. There’s no question that it could change this coun-try, if it gets out there. If people just let other people know. I’ve had great difficulty, first of all, in making the movie because no one would help me finance it and so I did it myself. When it came time for distribution, it was even more difficult. You know what happened, a lot of the movie people said, “I won’t distribute this, I can’t distribute this.” They were afraid.

irviN: Yeah.

a a r o N : We’ve had to do it ourselves.

irviN: Because what’s the most feared en-tity in America?

a a r o N : The IRS.

irviN: Yes, the IRS. So, you’re striking at the heart of this thing.

a a r o N : Well, to me the heart of the beast is not the IRS. The heart of the beast is the Federal Reserve System. I use the IRS to show the American people what a fraud the IRS is with taxes on your labor. There is no law that requires you to pay a direct, unapportioned tax on your labor and the movie proves it to the audience. They real-

ize it. I got to interview the former IRS com-missioner and we were having this discus-sion. You could see him getting more and more angry as the interview went along. He finally tried to stop it. I said to him, “What about all these Supreme Court decisions that say you don’t have this authority?” His response was, it was an amazing response, “Supreme Court decisions are inapplicable to the IRS, they don’t apply.” As if they’re above the law. You know they get away with it. They get away with it through fear and intimidation. There is no law. But the point of my movie, just to help here, is not to tell people not to pay their income tax. To me, the movie is about the RFID chips, the ID card, the police state and the one world government. That is the point. I use the IRS to prove to people that there is no law, be-cause everybody thinks there is. Once they understand that there’s no law, then they can accept the rest of the movie.

Craig: Where have you been all of our lives?

a a r o N : Learning. You know, life is a process. I believe God put me here to do this movie and I guess I had to learn about politics and making movies. I mean, I ran for governor of Nevada and I spent many years making movies. Simply because I went through those processes, I was able to make this movie. So, life is a process and I believe God has led me here to do it.

irviN: You know, Aaron, I was talking to a good minister friend of mine recently. He’s a very outstanding person, well read, he’s not a flake. He looked at me when we were talking about world affairs and what’s hap-pening and how both parties have fallen under the same power and that there’s re-ally no difference between the Republican and the Democratic party these days, or at least very little…

a a r o N : Exactly.

irviN: …and he looked at me. I said, “What’s the hope, what’s the answer?” He said, “You know, I don’t think we can recover this without either a revival or a revolution.” He said, “I hate to say those words, but this thing’s so far gone.” He told about meeting with congress people and he’s had influence. He said, “I’ve written to them, but it makes no difference what you say to them. They’ve got the bit in their teeth and they’re going right where they’re going. They know where they’re going and it’s like there’s no way to affect this system any longer.”

a a r o N : Well, there is a way that no-



body’s ever done before. I think it’s important that we do this. The movie has a call to action at the end. People have to under-stand the real problem we have in America is not Republicans and Democrats, red states and blue states, white versus black. That’s so ridiculous. Okay, that’s imposed upon us by the government themselves. They want to polarize everybody. So, first we have to join together and stand together, all Americans. We need to realize that it’s time to stop being good Democrats, it’s time to stop be-ing good Republicans and it’s time to start being good Americans. Then you’re a good American you stand for individual freedom. Freedom of the individual, the person itself, and not the institu-tions. Okay, once people understand that and we start organizing like Mahatma Gandhi did, the way Martin Luther King did, the way I’m about to organize this now. We’re going to start a new move-ment in this country: one people, one movement, freedom for all. We’re going to get millions and millions of people to march on Washington, to boycott businesses, to shut down this government like other places do. We’ve become so relaxed, we’ve stopped do-ing it. We’re getting thousands and thousands of people going to the web site, signing up to volunteer. They want e-mails to know when we’re going to start doing this. The way to do it that no one has done before, is to join together to shut down the Federal Re-serve System. That’s the head of the beast. We’ve had marches to stop the war or to stop segregation or different things, but no one would ever get together to shut down the Federal Reserve System. They’ve had this air of respectability about them. They live in this court of respectability of Alan Greenspan, the greatest guy in the world. Well, these guys are animals. They’re evil and they’re de-stroying this country. They’re taking away our borders and they’ve taken away the sovereignty of this nation. They’re destroying the Constitution. They’re going to chip everybody and we better join together and stop it now. No one’s ever done that before. We’ve never attacked the head of the beast.

In America, the wizard is the Central Bank, the Federal Reserve System. They control our government because they con-trol the money. We have to shut them down and restore the money creation in this country back to our government backed by gold and silver. That’s what has to happen. We have to have sound, honest money one more time.

irviN: So, in order to get that done, you’re saying that we have to repeal the Federal Reserve Act. Would that be the correct way to go about it?

a a r o N : Exactly and Congress has the authority to do that.

irviN: But, the Congress is getting funded by the people who con-trol the money of the Federal Reserve. Do we expect these people to have the courage…

a a r o N : Congress gets funded by the government because the government makes requests from the Federal Reserve to get the money. The Federal Reserve can’t deny them the money. So, the

point is this, let’s say that I just came from Chicago and the church members there were talking about how they loved my movie and they say, “You know what we should do. We should make any politi-cian that comes to our church sign an affidavit that they will vote to shut down the Federal Reserve System before they’re allowed to speak at our church.”

Craig: So, our own government is a slave to the Federal Reserve System. That’s why we should have listened to Abraham Lincoln. The government should produce and issue the money.

a a r o N : Well, Thomas Jefferson. That’s what the Constitution says. We have immense power. What we have to understand is that everything that the government does and the Federal Reserve System does is designed to get us to cooperate. We have to coop-erate. Once we start cooperating, we have nothing. Do you under-stand? It’s only because we cooperate that they win. We have to stop cooperating.

irviN: Let’s take a stab at bringing to everyone’s attention the Federal Reserve and the fact that it’s really controlled by private stockholders, people with huge amounts of money and that they actually produce the money for the United States of America and then charge us interest on what they have produced and it takes our income tax, much or all of the income tax, according to what you said in your movie, to pay the interest on money that we should have produced ourselves that we would be paying nothing on. Now, is that true?

a a r o N : Exactly. Whether or not all our income tax goes to them or not depends on the rate of interest at that time. The government doesn’t have to borrow money, the government can create money. So all of this interest the government is paying is ridiculous. Be-tween interest payments and government waste, not one cent, not one penny goes for infrastructure of the country or goes to provide the services that the taxpayers think they’re getting by paying their income tax. It’s all fraud. The whole thing is a fraud.

irviN: So, the government used to print the money and we paid no interest on money that was printed.

a a r o N : Right. It was done by productivity. It was backed by gold.

irviN: But, since the Federal Reserve Act came into being, the Fed-eral Reserve prints the money and then we borrow it from them and pay interest on that.

a a r o N : Exactly. They print the money based on the credit of the American people. They’re not printing anything. This printing of money, they’re using computer digits, it’s nothing.

irviN: It’s a good deal for them, but it’s not a very good deal for us.

a a r o N : That’s for sure. n
