Had a false sense of securityGiven to their luxuries & material possessionsNot see impending danger of God’s judgment
Many modern saints also at ease in ZionLukewarm, lethargic & lulled to sleep by SatanGiven to pursuit of materialism & pleasureFail to consider the coming judgment of God

“There is nothing to do”
• If Christians are at ease today, it is not because there is nothing to do.
• In fact, there is much work to be accomplished.

“There is excess of workers”
• If Christians are at ease today, it is not because there is an excess of workers.
• In fact, there is a shortage of workers.

• If Christians are at ease today, it is not because there is plenty of time.
• In fact, time and opportunity are limited.

Despite their complacency, they were facing desperate spiritual problemsGod demands that all such individuals be zealous and repent (Revelation 3:14-19)
We must be diligent & zealous in the Lord’s work (Titus 2:11-14).
