also allowing us the opportunity to minister to you in song, drama and dance and we pray that your experience of
this Musical will continue to enliven your hearts. Look out for repeat performances in the North and South of the
island.
The effect of the Pentecost event, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit is seen in the first community described in Acts 2:42-47.
Let us invite the Holy Spirit to show us how we can make this Pentecost a time of renewal and reawakening of the Spirit
in our relationships, hearts, homes and families.
• How are we faithful to the Word of God
and the teachings of the Church?
• How do we pray together daily as a
family and as a couple to praise, thank,
petition and listen to what God is saying
to us, both through His word and
through each other?
• How does our coming together to pray
and share make us effective witnesses to
Jesus, so that others are attracted to
join us?
WARNING- Singing in Church could be BENEFICIAL to your
spiritual health.
THE NEW SUNDAY AND WEEK DAY MISSAL ARE NOW AVAILABLE AT THE
PARISH OFFICE. PLEASE GET YOUR COPY.
WHAT’S HAPPENING
DID YOU KNOW?
Adoration means entering the
depths of our hearts in communion
with the Lord, who makes Himself
bodily present in the Eucharist. In
the monstrance He always entrusts
Himself to us and asks us to be
united with His Presence, with His
risen Body."
Pope Benedict XVI
ABOUT AECYA
With the theme: “Your Word is a Lamp for my
Steps and a Light for my Path.” (Psalm 119
(118):105) and sub-theme: The Word of God
shaping the lives of our Youth, the Assembly
seeks to place the Word of God in the hands of
Caribbean youth, helping them to grow in faith
together, and be in solidarity with each other
through a shared experience of faith, spirituality and culture.
All our local Churches need well formed and vibrant youth. The AECYA
provides a critical forum for helping to achieve this at a regional level
and in a collaborative way. The Assembly’s program will include liturgy,
catechesis, social outreach and cultural experiences.
Pray for a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit on our Caribbean
Youth & the Assembly “Ask and you will receive” Matt. 7:7 Just choose
one convenient hour. Pray daily at the same time for any length of time
within the hour that you have chosen. Be faithful to your prayer time and
pray intently for our Caribbean Youth and for the success of the
Assembly.

A fter the glory of the resurrection, I stayed for a
while on earth to strengthen the faith of my
apostles so that they could begin the work of my
Church.
My departure was a solemn moment for me and
for those who were present, I was anxious to
enter into my eternal glory in my heavenly throne, at the same time
I was sad to leave my mother behind and my new daughter, the
Church.
For the last time, I confirmed my authority to the apostles, so that they could understand
that they had received my power to continue the work of salvation that the Father had
sent me to do.
I am immortal, I am omnipotent. My ascension into heaven was done in order for me to
return to my heavenly throne after my work of redemption, to reign forever as the Lamb
of God, the Christ who died for the forgiveness of sins.
As the head of the Church, and with my omnipotent power I delegated my authority to
Peter as I made him the visible head of my mystical body on earth. I commanded him to
feed my lambs as a proof of his love for me. He continues my work through my Vicar,
the Pope of the Catholic Church.
I am the life of my Church, and my blood is poured out continuously in the Holy Mass
in an un-bloody manner so that my faithful may have life from me, through the merits of
my sufferings and death.
By my command you are to eat of my flesh and to drink of my blood if you desire to
live eternally. By my resurrection I have proved that I am the resurrection and the life, I
have the power to let you live forever. By my ascension I have given you a reason to
hope to be assumed into heaven after the last day.
Everyone who believes and is baptized will have a secure place in my eternal kingdom.
Obey my commandments of love and have great hope in the things that I have promised.

APPARITION OF THE BLESSED
PROMISES OF THE ROSARY
• The Rosary will be a powerful armor against hell. It
will destroy vice, decrease sin and defeat heresies.
• It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it
will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it
will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of
the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the
desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would
sanctify themselves by this means.
• Those who recommend themselves to me by the
recitation of the Rosary shall not perish.
• Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying
himself to the consideration of its sacred Mysteries
shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will
not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish
by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall
remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of
eternal life.
• Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary
shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
• Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall
have during their life and at their death, the light of
God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment
of death they shall participate in the merits of the
saints in paradise.
