OBSERVATION 1:

Based on the mythological story of Aruna and Sesha.

Aruna – Head of the eagle family, forefather of Jatayu, charioteer of Surya deva, ...

Sesha – Head of the snake family, served vishnu as lakshmana,...

Aruna and Sesha are born to the same father but different mothers ( who were jealous of each other )

So, the two families have always been at war with each other.

The first two lines describes the one who is the Guru of the two families .

Line : Bhava bhaya harana Sree Sai deva

Meaning : The one who removes the fear of life.

Line: Guru hai Sath Chith

OBSERVATION 3:

This bhajan describes three stages in a journey.

Stage 1: the Guru attracts all types of disciples.

Stage 2: the Guru removes fear.

Stage 3: the Guru teaches the truth and the

realization comes that the Guru is indeed the

destination itself .

Therefore Guru seems to be the path and the

destination in the spiritual journey.
