BASIC ECCLESIAL COMMUNITY
Happiness through following:
Jesus said to them, “Come with me, and I will teach you to catch men,”
Jesus answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
The second most important commandment is like it: Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”
You did not choose me; I choose you and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kink of fruit that endures.
The scripture says, “Be holy because I am holy.”
Places of sin - (I John 2:15-17) Don’t love the world.
People of sin - (II Cor. 6:17) Your friends influence you.
Practices of sin - (I Tim. 5:22) Keep yourself pure.
Purity from sin - (I Thess. 5:22) Stay away from what’s wrong.
Purging from sin - (II Cor. 7:1) Cleanse yourself.
Playing with sin - (Prov. 6:27, 28) Sin always leaves mark.
Power of sin - (Rom. 12:2) Don’t join with the world.
Time - (Ps. 90:12) Never waste your time. Include God in all you do. (Eccles. 12:1)
Talk - (James 1:19) Every time you open your mouth, you show what is in your heart.
Thoughts - (Prov. 23:7) You are what you think. We should have the mind of Christ. (Phil. 2:5)
Note the words of Jesus in Luke 9:23
Decision - “If any man will come after me.” There is a choice.
Denial - Let him deny himself” (Gal. 2:20)
Dedication – And take up his cross daily.”
Determination - “And follow me” (Mat. 4:19)
Purpose - (Dan. 1:8) We must make a decision to live for God.
Power - (Dan. 3:24, 27) Christ stood with the three Hebrew boys.
Problem - (Mark 8: 36-38) If we are ashamed of Christ, He will be ashamed of us.
Worship - (John 4:34) We serve Him by attending church, reading the Bible, and praying.
Work - (Eccles. 9:10) We serve Him by putting our heart into what we do.
Witnessing - (Acts 1:8) We serve Him by telling others about God and His love.
Read the Bible daily
Take time to pray
daily
Always think the best of all
people
Always look on the good side of life
Accept everything that comes into your
life as a gift from God.
God is calling today.Do you hear His voice? Are you leaving close
enough to Christ that you can hear His voice?
Sometimes we become spiritually deaf.
Sometimes we don’t hear his voice because we don’t care! Open
your heart and allow Him to speak to you.
