Blessing gave birth prematurely to her twin daughters, Peace and Patience. After suffering years of abuse, Blessing was finally driven from her home by her husband when she was four months pregnant.




Frightened, exhausted and dangerously ill, Blessing turned to St. Monica’s health clinic forhelp.




Labour came on suddenly at seven months, when her blood pressure was so dangerously high that the Sister in charge had to give an injection to speed up delivery. Without the quick actions of the Sister, Blessing and her daughters would not have survived.
