Pilate, the Man
• Pilate was procurator of Judea and he held office for 10 years.
• Josephus tells (Ant., XVIII, iv, 2) that he was removed from office by Vitellius, the legate of Syria.

Pilate, the Man of Choices
So Pilate entered his headquarters again andcalled Jesus and said to him, “Are you the King ofthe Jews?”
