He is the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. Deuteronomy 1:8, 6:10

He is worthy of obedience, 40

We Worship the Same Unique God

He is the awesome Creator.

How foolish to replace Him with any other.

A holy people.Leviticus 19:2

They were chosen to be holy.Deuteronomy 7:6-11, 14:2

Chosen to be ministers.Deuteronomy 18:5, 21:5.

They were a treasure, a special people.Deuteronomy 7:6, 26:17-19

Love was the motivation.

Christians areA Unique People

God does not save us because we are holy.

We are saved by His grace to be holy.

Our purpose is to be ministers.

Love is still the motivation.

We are a special people.1 Peter 2:1-10

A Unique Relationship

For Israel it was based on:

The Law of Moses.

Joyful worship according to that Law.Deuteronomy 27:6-7

A loving obedience to the Law.Deuteronomy 6:4-6

A Unique Relationship

For the Christian it is based on:

The Law of Christ.Galatians 6:2

Joyful living and worship.

A loving, obedient response to a loving God.

A Final Point

God keeps covenant for a thousand generations.

We serve an awesome God…

Will we keep a covenant with Him for one generation?
