A Mother’s Song

Page 2: A Mother's Song

May you grow to be

far better than me,

May you always love the Lord,

See the best in everyone you meet,

Always be self assured.

Page 3: A Mother's Song

I pray that you’ll see yourself

as God sees you,

And if ever you feel low,

Just know that God designed,

created you,

Oh how He loves you so.

Page 4: A Mother's Song

And though you’ll make mistakes,

May God makes your path

run straight,

I’ll do the best that I can do,

And pray that the best of me

will be the worst of you.

Whenever things get hard for you

And feel too hard to bear,

Just fix your eyes upon the Lord,

He will always hear your prayer.

Page 6: A Mother's Song

And though you’ll make mistakes,

I pray that God

makes your path run straight.

I’ll do the best that I can do,

And pray that the best of me

will be the worst of you.

I have to believe,

that one day God will hear.

I have to have faith,

that He will bless me with a child.

And when you’re here,

I’ll do my best to wipe away your tears

When you’re here,

I’ll do my best to calm your every fear.

When you’re here…

And though I’ll make mistakes,

I pray that I won’t let you down.

Oh how I’ve longed for you,

And prayed that the best of me

will be the worst of you.

And prayed that the best of me

will be the worst of you.
