Repentance involves confessing (to God alone!) that you are a sinner in need of his grace. Pour out your heart to him.

• This is a NECESSARY step to be taken in order to be saved.

• Baptism signifies the death, burial and resurrection (raising from the dead) of Jesus Christ.

• In that same way, you make a conscious decision to ‘die’ to self; to ‘die’ to your old lifestyle, be buried (under water) and come up again a new person.

• In other words, your sins will be washed away by Jesus' blood and you will become clean.

We MUST Believe on Jesus

Mark 16:16He that believeth and is baptized

shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

John 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever

believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

We MUST repent

Acts 2:38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and

be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the

gift of the Holy Ghost.

from the presence of the Lord;
