For Openers

“The unexamined life is not worth living”- Socrates

Suppose you take 48-72 hours off from life to examine how you are living it.

Don’t believe a thing that I say.

Just try it on like a jacket . Think it and see what you see. If it doesn’t fit …

Your guarantee…

Creating Our Time TogetherCreating Our Time Together

You are invited to invest 48 hours or so having fun during which time you will discover the answers to three critical questions:

1.What is possible in life?

2. What is missing in my life that I don’t have this?

3. What is there to do about it?

Design of the Program

The overall thrust of the program moves you through three aspects of existence:

1. being enabled to observe, “what’s so”

2. being able to add the “so what” to the “ what’s so”.

3. which leaves one standing in a creative place called “now what?”

To Summarize what we are up to:To Summarize what we are up to:

1. Find out where you are right now.

2. Discover how you got that way.

3. Who do you have to be and what is it that you have to do now to realize your desires?

4. What structures need to be put in place?

The Trust Mingle

Objective:An exercise in telling the truth, being honest with the focus on trust.Mechanics:1. You will move about the room and stand in front of one person at a

time.

Based on your experience of that person and your definition or standard trust and declare one of 4 possibilities:

1. I trust you.2. I don’t trust you.3. I’m not sure.4. I don’t care to say.

2. Both partners move on to someone else until I say stop.3. Mingle with the whole group.5. The value comes from just participating fully, noticing thoughts, emotions and physical sensations associated your choice.

ResponsibilityResponsibility is the willingness to acknowledge being cause in the matter. What matter…all matters. That includes:

- what you do to another, - what another does to you, - and, even what another does to another. It is not the truth. It is simply a function of declaration.

• What is the meaning or purpose of life?• There isn’t any! • Life is empty & meaningless.• It doesn’t mean anything, and it doesn’t mean anything

that it doesn’t mean anything. • It just doesn’t mean anything!• “Life is a tale, told by an idiot, signifying nothing.” • “Life is but a poor player that struts his hour upon the

stage and is heard from no more.”

What’s it all about anyway?

The Now What Process

Page 43: A Breath Of Fresh Air +Dare To Dream

Identify the circumstance and the accompanying negative thought.

Critical Question # 1. How does thinking this thought make you feel? Good or Bad Powerful or Powerless

If good and powerful, focus your attention on the thought. Your energy will follow your attention. If bad and powerless, move to critical question #2.

Critical Question #2. Choose one of the following: Give my attention to the negative thought. Don’t give my attention to the negative thought.

You can not stop thinking what you are thinking. However, by not giving your attention to a thought, you discover an opening to create an alternative thought. Go to critical question #3.

Critical Question #3. What alternative thought can you generate that: Makes you feel good. Makes you powerful.

Upsets In General

Some things to remember: 1. You are never upset about what you think you are upset about.

2. Suffering is never about the facts and always about the perception.

3. Resistance causes persistence.

4. Anything fully experienced leaves you in calm and joy.

The Ontological Dissolution OF Upsets

Page 46: A Breath Of Fresh Air +Dare To Dream

Spiritual Dissolution Of Upsets

1. Become conscious that we are suffering. When we are not feeling well force of habit is to tell ourselves

that we are feeling fine. We need to acknowledge & accept the pain and suffering. We must move towards it and not away from it.

2. Become aware of habitual mind questions that take us away from the discomfort.

Who did this to me? Why did they do it? Assign cause & blame to someone or something else. What questions do you ask yourself?

3. Ask the right questions that take us into the experience of the pain.

Page 47: A Breath Of Fresh Air +Dare To Dream

4. Become aware of old habitual responses.Blaming, fighting the situation, losing motivation, shame.Condemn ourselves. Moving outward – looking for liberation outside yourself.

5. Make the decision. Now you have enough altitude to recognize an illogical, foolish habit. Requires a firm resolve to break old pattern. I will do everything required to pay attention. It requires practice& repeated resolve.

6.Invoke the divine presence. We need the focus and extra energy.

Page 48: A Breath Of Fresh Air +Dare To Dream

6.Invoke the divine presence. We need the focus and extra energy.

Page 49: A Breath Of Fresh Air +Dare To Dream

7. Allow going through the whole experience. Just see what you are feeling physically. There is nothing to make sense of.

It is just an experience to go through.

8. After completing the experience and you feel a sense of silence, joy, or gratitude make the affirmation that “Suffering is not in the facts but in my perception”. Hands over heart, eyes closed, inhale & hold, affirm 7 times, exhale.

Resolve & face each experience fully.Body erect, eyes closed, hands on right thigh, Inhale and hold, state, “I am experiencing this feeling completely, then exhale, repeat 7 times.

Page 50: A Breath Of Fresh Air +Dare To Dream

9. Express gratitude to the divine.

Spirituality is not just about experiencing higher states and mystical happenings, but about re-programming our responses.

Our responses determine our destiny. Responding out of old habits, destroys relationships and causes disease.

Responding through acceptance and experience

causes transformation… creating a new golden age.

Purpose

Dare To Dream

The purpose of this part of the program is to transform your life from “FRANTIC ACTIVITY” which is a fear based, egoist manifestation of separateness and survival

into a state of “ BEING IN ACTION” which is a divinely inspired, experience of oneness, that makes a difference, is fun, and is financially rewarding.

Page 67: A Breath Of Fresh Air +Dare To Dream

How to Proceed

In the next two days I will give all the pieces.

It will take approximately a lifetime to sort it all out for yourself.

I can’t do it for you.

There are pitfalls along the way. That’s where competent coaching is important.

Enrollment : is defined as the art of generating an opening in another’s heart such that they commitedly step in to that opening and act.

There are five phases in the process 1 . A conversation for establishing a back ground of relatedness - getting related.

Getting relatedBeing with what is their world listening?

What is local listening - their personal relationship to the subject 2. Creating a conversation 2. Creating a conversation forfor possibility possibility

Inspire themInspire them Create a big contextCreate a big context

3. Creating a conversation for opportunity. Establishing structures for fulfillment that will make the possibility real.

Have them see the value Feasible

Co-create 4. Create a conversation for moving people to action.

1. Clarify the difference between a problem and a breakdown. A Problem is defined as a what is that shouldn’t be. A Breakdown is distinguished as an interruption to what you are committed to. It is technically an interruption to your directional vector.2. Declare a breakdown.

3. Differentiate What Happened ( the facts) from The Interpretation (the Story)

4. Given, that this is a breakdown then by definition, there must be a corresponding Commitment in the background.

5. Identify the commitment in the background. (or dissolve it).

6. Given these facts and that commitment:● have a conversation for possibility. Exactly what are the possibilities?● have a conversation for opportunity. Which of the possibilities do you want to create structures for fulfillment for?●have a conversation for action. Who will do what by when?
