son, “Isaac” (meaning

“laughter”)

After 15 years of joy and delight with Isaac, God spoke to Abraham…

Matt 22:37 Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul

and with all your mind.”

“1 Sam 15:22 Samuel replied [king Saul]: “Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and

sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice ….”
