What does the cross mean to me?

Take 5 minutes and silently reflect on what you just saw. Feel free to write, journal, draw, pray, write a prayer, open God’s Word.

For those of you who are genuinely doing your best to live for God, reflect on this verse too: “Whoever does not bear his cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:27

Besides Jesus, who was at the cross?

Luke 23:32-42

“Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed…

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Christ? Save yourself and us!”

But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
