OUTSIDE OPPORTUNITIES Hospice of Holland is in need of volunteers for companionship, vigil service, respite care, light housekeeping, helping patients document their life stories and also professional services such as massage therapy, music therapy, hair cuts and personal grooming. For more information, call Jodi in the volunteer office at 396-2972 or go to hollandhospice.org. Parkside Bible Church is hosting Life Line Screening at the church on Thursday, August 20, starting at 9:00 a.m. Tests include Stroke/Carotid Artery Screening, Hearth Rhythm Screening (Atrial Fibrillation), Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening, Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening and Osteoporosis Risk Assessment. Ultrasound scans and EKG electrodes will be used. Have four tests for $139 or five tests for $149. Call to register at 1-888-653-6450 and receive a $10 discount.

SUNDAY EVENING HYMN SING - Plan to join us this evening at the

church from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Room C1 while we sing some good old

hymns together with our church family, along with casual scripture

readings and testimonials. The Hymn Sings will continue every Sunday

evening through the end of July. This is a great outreach opportunity.

WORSHIP WORKSHOP TONIGHT - The congregation is invited to join

the staff of the church as they share their philosophy of corporate

worship. This is the second week of the workshop but all are welcome to

join in at 7:30 pm tonight in the board room as we discuss why we do

worship on Sunday mornings the way we do.

BIBLE STUDY - The Wednesday night Bible Study resumes this week

with Harold Kimbel’s study “The Book of Daniel” from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

meeting in Room A3. All are welcome!

WOMEN’S FALL RETREAT - Ladies, do you need a fun weekend away

from home? Join other Parkside women at a retreat held at Grace

Adventures on October 9-11. Brochures are available on the Women’s
