GUEST SPEAKER TODAY & NEXT MONTH We welcome back Pastor Bill Rigg as
our guest speaker today! Pastor Bill has been a senior pastor for several GGF
churches and also spent many years ministering at Grace Adventures. The guest
speaker for the month of July will be Pastor Gary Spykerman, a professor at Grace
Bible College.
ADULT SUMMER BIBLE STUDY ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS Harold Kimbel
is teaching a course entitled “How To Study the Bible” at the church on Wednesday
nights at 7:00 p.m. Taken from Ephesians 2:11-18, this course is for anyone inter-
ested in teaching a future course or just interested in getting more out of the Bible.
CHURCH SURVEY If you haven’t yet completed the church survey, please do so
before July 3. The Pastoral Search Committee needs your input! If you have an
active email address with the church, the user name and password have been emailed
to you. Please take about 20 minutes of your time to complete this online church
assessment survey. This survey is for all regular attendees of Parkside. Each couple
should complete two individual surveys and older teens are welcome to participate
also. The website address is: http://www.healthychurch.net/suvey/login.php. If
you need the sign-in information again, please call the church office. For those who
do not have email, you can stop by the church and Judy will help you complete it.
WOMEN’S BOARD & COORDINATOR’S MEETING Ladies, there is a very
important meeting being held in the Board Room tomorrow, June 30, at 6:30 p.m.
for all women’s ministry coordinators and the women’s board. Please try to attend.
FAMILY FUN AT THE FURBUSH’S! Again this year, Daniel, Linda and Jessica
Furbush are opening up their home and pool for family fun on Friday nights starting
at 5:30 p.m. on July 11 and ending on September 12 (weather permitting). All youth
group aged youth and their families and youth sponsors are invited. Bring your swim
suits, towels, and floatation devices for younger children. If you would like to bring
your own dinner, feel free to do so. A hot grill will be available along with paper
products, glasses, utensils, water and ingredients for s’mores. No need to sign
up ...just stop by anytime after 5:30 and leave whenever you need to. Their address

MEN’S WEDNESDAY MORNING GROUP The Wednesday morning men’s prayer
group is taking a month off! There will be no group for the month of July but please
join us as we resume our fellowship, talk, prayer and coffee on Wednesday, August 6,
at 6:30 a.m. Come when you can...leave when you must! All men are welcome!

VBS SUMMARY
We had 83 children in attendance at Vacation Bible School this year
and 15 invited Jesus into their hearts! It was an amazing week and
we want to thank all the people who volunteered to help...all 67 of
them! We also extend a very special thank you to Director
Ria Nieboer and Co-Directors Angi Fogerty & Hannah Hodgson.
Please return your VBS shirts to the church office or give to
Linda Furbush.

PIONEER CLUBS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
It’s just the start of summer but we’re already preparing for our fall start-up of
Pioneer Clubs! Former teachers, please contact Michelle Crook to let her know if
you plan to continue teaching this year. We also have an interest in a group for
age 4-Kindergarten and would need teachers for this age group. If you did not
teach last year but would be interested, WE NEED teachers and helpers. Talk to
Michelle or Jill Welch on what is involved or to get more details!
