Song of Solomon

*A. She’s dreaming about kisses and ointments and love. 

*B. The setting has this young lady dreaming of love – but it is as yet unrealized love.

*C. That initial attraction to Christ is, I am convinced, universal.

*A. The attraction to Christ is universal but the action of men upon God’s wooing is individual.

*B. She isn’t just passively asking, but she is actively pursuing her love.

*C. The king represents the prince of this world, Satan, and his own attractions.

*A. She has been exposed

* *B. She is black

* *C. She is unkempt

*John 1:37-39* And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed

Jesus.

*Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

*He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
