eBay was looking for a scalable middleware platform to connect their backend services with their main online portal

Challenge• eBay was looking to move away from a home-grown

middleware solution to an industry proven ESB.• The solution demanded a lightweight deployment model with

flexibility over artifact deployment, ESB node management and cluster administration.

• Benchmarked 10 ESBs proprietary and open source, and WSO2 ESB was the only product that supported their performance and manageability requirements.

Solution• A high availability ESB clusters capable of handling billions of

transactions per day (average 4-6 billion transactions per day right now – 2014)
