Waze is all about contributing to the 'common good' out there on the road.It presents a simple method for finding the current location and positioning with high accuracy. Our application provides the location of a man when logged into our software and they can also find their useful places like nearby airports , ATM , banks, bus station ,church etc and also find theway how to go that place with distance information.

Software Requirements:-•Technology : J2SE , XML AND SQL•Java Version : JDK1.6•Backend Database : SQLITE•IDE : Eclipse Juno •Updated SDK : Emulator

Hardware Requirements:-

•Processor : Pentium IV•RAM Capacity : 1GB •Hard Disk : 160GB


Designing & Description:-

If the user is already registered in the software then he has to put his email id as login id and password for login . In case he has no account in this software then he has to go into the registration page for registration.

If the user is not registered in the software then he has to enter the required details like first name , last name ,phone no ,email id and password for registering in the registration page.

After logging , user will go the welcome page where they can see their current location, i.e., latitude and longitude. Based on his current location latitude & longitude he can easily find the nearby important places like airports , ATM , banks, bus station ,church etc.

If he click on the ATM option present in the list, it will show the ATM lists based on the current location. The list will show all the ATM with their latitude & longitude as well as their address.

If he click on the Punjab National Bank option from the present ATM list, it will show the selected ATM with their latitude & longitude as well as their address .There also be an “GO TO MAP” option from where he can easily go the map to see the direction as well as the distance between his current location & the selected ATM address.

At lastly he can see the direction on the map with a blue line & also can see the distance between his current location & the selected ATM address.

Future Enhancements:-

It is not possible to develop a system that makes all the requirements of the user. User requirements keep changing as the system is being used. Some of the future enhancements that can be done to this system are:As the technology emerges, it is possible to upgrade the system and can be adaptable to desired environment.Because it is based on object-oriented design, any further changes can be easily adaptable.Based on the future security issues, security can be improved using emerging technologies.It can also be used as a offline application in the near future


CONCLUSION This WAZE -A Location Tracker has been computed successfully and was also tested successfully by taking “test cases”. It is user friendly, and has required options, which can be utilized by the user to perform the desired operations.The software is developed using Java as front end and SQLITE as back end in Windows environment. The goals that are achieved by the software are:-

Optimum utilization of resources.Very easy to find nearby airports ,banks , temples etc on the basis of the current location.Simplification of the operations.User friendly.Less processing time and getting required information.
