DIRECTV customers are routinely presented with offers that include promotional credits to incentivize them into signing up for a specific product and / or service. Most promotional credits are recurring, meaning that a portion of the overall credit amount is applied to the bill for a period of time until the full credit amount is reached. Customers may also receive one-time credits to appease a customer who has had a negative experience, service outage or correct a billing error. All credits, whether one-time or recurring, are applied to the customer’s bill and help reduce the overall amount that the customer owes DIRECTV for a given billing cycle.

Credits and credit related information is available to a large number of user groups. This includes DIRECTV and non-DIRECTV personnel providing Customer support for customer inquiries, primarily Customer Care agents, as well as the customers themselves through the billing process. Customers can view billing information through the billing method they have opted for (traditional paper vs. electronic) or by going to the DIRECTV.com website and logging into their account.

The Mercury Readership and Analytics system (MRA) will be the central warehouse and reporting system for data on research consumption by Citi clients. Data will be collected from sources which include traditional content providers such as Bloomberg, Thomson and Reuters, content portals owned by Citigroup such as GEO and SmithBarney.com, and direct client distribution channels such as e-mail alerts. The data from these sources will be aggregated to facilitate reporting and analysis.

MRA is a component of the larger Mercury project, which is a joint CIRA-Equities effort to improve distribution of Research content. Other components of Mercury with which this project interacts include Mercury Content Delivery Network (MCDN) and Mercury Delivery Channel Manager (MDCM).

Responsibilities: Interacted with Subject Matter Experts and Business Analysts for reporting require-

ments analysis and to define business and functional specifications. Analyzed the Business Requirement Documents (BRD’s) and created the technical

This application LMS(Limits management system) has a workflow for breach management. The system identifies a breach as soon as the utilization value exceeds the Limit value and generates a workflow. The workflow is assigned to MRO (through security model) for validation. Once the breach is validated by MRO it moves to MRMs LMS Inbox for closure. MRM can then request further information from MRO or can close the breach by marking the breach as ‘Approved’, ‘Technical’ or ‘Not Approved’.

Responsibilities: Installed and configured complete suite of OBIEE 10.1.3.4 in test and development

environment on Linux boxes. Changed Out of the box dashboards and provided detail level drill downs to as per

business requirements using Oracle Answers. Worked extensively on OBIEE Administration tool and Presentation Services. Worked on the different layers in the data model (Physical, Business and Presenta-
