A handy tool to export/import orders from/to Magento. Extremely useful if you need to migrate orders from one version to another or from a community edition to enterprise edition or visa versa. Module will export and import Exports Orders, Order Addresses, Order Payments, Order Payment Transactions, Order Status History, Invoices, Invoice Comments, Invoice Items, Shipments, Shipment Comments, Shipped Items, Shipments Tracking, Credit Memos, Credit Memo Comments, Credit Memo Items, Checkout fields. Orders will be matched to the existing customers.

1. Manage profilesHow to find: System > Import/Export > Aitoc Order Export

The extension allows you using multiple profiles with different settings.

“Loaded profile“ shows you the profile you can manage now.

“Profile“ dropdown allows you selecting another profile.

“Load profile“ and “Delete profile“ buttons apply the function to the item selected in “Profile“ dropdown.

“Store View” dropdown helps you using ex¬port for selected stores.

Save current profile without exporting. If you want to create a new profile you should type a new name into “Profile Name“ field and press “Save” button.

2. Configuring export outputHow to find: System > Import/Export > Aitoc Order Export

Order Export file will be placed on local serv-er in “Path folder“ with filename “File Prefix“_

YYYYM¬MDDHHMMSS.ext

You can download the file when export is complete.

You’ll get the email with export file attached. You can edit email template using default Magento

means (System > Transactional emails). Please note that creating export file can take up to

several minutes.

Order Export file will be placed on remote FTP. Please note that creating export file can take up to several minutes.

The extension supports exporting in XML format. XML file is a preferred type for order migration between different Magento versions.

XSL template may allow you creating order ex¬port files that can be imported into 3rd party soft¬ware.

The automatic exporting can be started upon different types of events. You may select one of them if automatic exporting is needed.

Please note that CSV files may have various for-mats. For example you can open file in Microsoft Excel and then save it in the same CSV format without any changes. As a result you get the file with new data structure. The CVS file should be edited in plain text editor.

You can create filters by order status, order number, cus-tomer ID, product ID and order date.Please note that you can create filters with empty values.

Cron job will help you to create a schedule for order exporting.

“Export orders which were not exported before” option works within the current profile.

The tabs contain options to select data to export from orders. Order export contains invoices, shipments and etc. You can skip some data if you don’t need it.

3. Order Export History and Processor TabHow to find: System > Import/Export > Aitoc Order Export

History tab contains all export history to control export pro-cess. You can check every exporting with full details (down-load the file exported and see the list of the exported orders).

Please note that export process can take up to several min-utes due to the large number of orders. You can control the progress of export and cancel it.

4. Configuring importHow to find: System > Import/Export > Aitoc Order Import

The extension checks data structure before importing.

“Store View” dropdown helps you to import into the certain store. Usually Magento installations have different set of customer IDs and product IDs. The exten-sion matches customers by e-mail addresses and products by SKU.

The extension can create cus-tomers’ accounts based on “Bill-ing Information” from their orders.

Import logic: 1. Append Complex Data.Import will be processed if orde-rID is not present in the system.2. Replace existing complex data. Import will be processed for each order. If you import the orders with OrderIDs that al-ready present in the system the existing order will be replaced by imported orders.3. Delete entities.All Orders with orderIDs in im-port file will be deleted

4. Configuring importHow to find: System > Import/Export > Aitoc Order Import

The extension supports importing in XML format. XML file is a preferred type for order migration between different Magento versions.

History tab contains all import history to control import pro¬cess. You can check every importing with full details (see the list of errors).
