Lessons Learned – BCP Website Creation
• Listen to the COORDINATORS / USERS – what do they want; what do they need; what can be a resource to make their job easier
• Think of the mission / message – what do you want to convey; what is YOUR purpose – singular or multiple message
• Think for the users … what information can help simplify the processes
• Different POV or incites into BCP – You as website admin. might need to create your site as ‘everything to everyone’
• Then … Organize / Organize / Organize!• Sort information – Put information in ‘findable’ format (i.e.,
sort by audience, information verses instructional)Be a resource website for whomever might visit your site
