HISTORY: SO WHERE DID DRUPALCOME FROM?

Dries Buytaert 2000, a student of the University of Antwerp,Belgium at that time.

Built a web blog to communicate with his friends.

After graduation he release the code as open source.

Fast-forward to today, Drupal is maintained by one of thelargest open source community in the world.
