• For customers who have software that has been withdrawn from support or have reached the Program Services end date. (IBM Notes and Domino 8.0 end of support date was 30 April 2015).
• Customers must maintain for the duration of the contract period in active maintenance contract (IBM Software Subscription and Support) covering the current version of the IBM Software Product that receives services under this program.
• Customers must have a work in progress plan towards migrating licenses to a supported version.

The AVP Upgrade Bridge offering preserves web and phone-based remote technical support (as defined in the IBM Support Handbook), preserves access to existing software patches, and provides a special IBM Customer Number (ICN) to be used to fast-track and prioritize problems reported with the out of support product release.
An IBM Accelerated Value Leader (AVL), is assigned to track, report and expedite reported problems. The AVL also guides you on how to stabilize your present environment until an upgrade can be completed, and helps prepare and sustain the environment’s stability in readiness for a ‘go live’ migration date.
