About Digital EDU: eLearning•Digital EDU: eLearning is a self-paced certification program, so you can watch the training videos, view the presentation slides, and take the quizzes at your own pace!
• Follow the steps in this presentation to create your registered learner account and start earning credit towards your chosen certification!
• NOTE: Please only create an account in our system if you plan on purchasing & completing your certification – all inactive accounts will be deleted

Digital EDU 2017 Semesters & Due Dates• New for 2017, we are offering two semesters of Digital EDU, so you can complete your certification when it is most convenient for you.
• Spring Semester: All certification requirements due June 4, 2017• Fall Semester: All certification requirements due December 10, 2017
• All accounts will be deleted the following day after the due dates to make room for new learners. Please be sure to complete required modules at 100% and download/keep any materials you wish throughout the semester.
• NOTE: Please only create an account in our system if you plan on purchasing & completing your certification – all inactive accounts will be deleted

1. Create a Registered Learner Account• Visit our training portal at: training.communitysys.com
• Or via Community Systems’ website>Training>Digital EDU>Login to Training Portal
• Select the “Register” prompt at the bottom to begin creating your registered learner account

1. Create a Registered Learner Account• Fill out the User Registration form & select “register”
•NOTE: Be sure to use the correct First/Last Name and Company Name that you want printed on your certificate
•Write down your Username & Password – this is what you will use to login to the training portal

2. Purchasing Your Certification Track•Once registered, login to your account and visit the eCommerce store page

• Select your desired certification track package and “Add to Cart”• You can also view & purchase Single Sessions on the Left Menu

• Review your order and continue to the Secure Checkout• NOTE: If you have a valid coupon code, enter it here and click the green plus-sign button to apply – your discount will show in red once applied

3. Completing the Training Modules• Each Digital EDU certification has a specific set of requirements• NOTE: You need to complete the certification requirements by
the due date in order to receive your certification! NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Visit the “My Courses” page to view the available training modules•Open the module to view the training materials

3. Completing the Training Modules
• Select the learning element you want to launch•NOTE: You MUST watch the video session in its entirety in order to complete the module – all time is tracked in the system!• Once you have watched the video session and reviewed the presentation slides, you can take the module quiz! Make sure to SUBMIT your answers in order to record your result into the system.• TIP: You can take quizzes unlimited times!

3. Completing the Training Modules
•Once you have completed all of the module learning elements, you will see your module as 100% complete!

Other Tips• You can view your progress via the “Transcript” tab
• You can view the due date of your certification requirements by clicking “Home” and see the article under the Announcements tab (right column)
• You can download and keep any materials you want for future review
• You can manage and update your account and profile information by clicking on “Your Name”>My Account in the top right corner of the portal
• You can bookmark the training portal for quick login access
• You can join our LinkedIn Group, Digital Economic Development, to start and join in on discussions with other learners and certified Digital Economic Developers
