Table to Table Comparison using ETL Validator

Objective

• As a QA Engineer, I want to

compare the data between two

tables

•Login

• Verification: Once done (all

green), user will automatically see

the home screen.

• Click on “Connection” to view

existing database connections

• This screen will display existing

connections.

• Click on new Data Source and add

connection details

• Now, you are ready to create tests.

Click on the “Menu” icon on the top

left.

• Select your Target and Source

• Click on Next (arrow at the bottom)

• Click on “Query Builder”

Select Join Condition and Columns to be

compared

Execute test by clicking on Run

Three Tabs show up if there is a problem

1. Data that is in Source but not in Target

2. Data that is in Target but not in Source

3. Data differences (if any)

Now, the test case can be packaged

into a test plan and scheduled
