Celebrity Influence Doesn't Help Recover Stolen Laptops Just like Tina Fey did earlier this year, comedienne Miranda Hart has taken to social media after having her laptop stolen, hoping to get back her stolen device and all the creative projects therein. Although Tina Fey used a talk show as her outlet, Miranda Hart tweeted the following to her more than 1.3M followers: "If people who stole my laptop last night in W6 out there. Please please please return. Precious creative projects all lost. Will reward. RT." As of the writing of this post, the tweet has been retweeted 9,610 times. Exposed to millions of people, to our knowledge the laptop has not been found or returned. Same goes for Tina Fey. Millions of laptops are stolen every year one every 50 seconds. Did you know that you have only a 3% chance of getting back your laptop if you don't have it protected? Even with the exposure through TV, in news stories, and all over social media, neither of these celebrities got back their laptops.
