KEY NOTES FOR DESIGNING FOR EVERY SOCIAL NETWORK

•  Your designs are going to be viewed on a wide range of devices and networks, it’s important to consider a universal design that can be easily adapted for each social network.

•  Don’t be too wordy. In fact the trend is to not use copy, but rather a strong photo for the artwork.

•  Create a consistent online portfolio.

•  Design for the common editable sections on every social network such as banners, cover photos, background images and display photos.

THE PITFALLS OF IGNORING SOCIAL MEDIA

•  Don't be selective, it may not be your favorite social network but users everywhere are important.
