annoyed by your business posts…• And your business contacts don’t see your personal posts (unless you

want them to)

Separate On Facebook?• In this video you will learn:• How to add your friends to Facebook lists• How to share posts to a particular section of friends – eg Friends & Family

only or business only

• I’ll show you how to do this from a desktop computer, but the first part can also be done from a mobile app

Add Business Contacts To “Acquaintances”• When you accept a new business contact,

hover over the Friends button to the bottom right of their FB cover

• Up pops a box of lists to choose from• Tick the “Acquaintances” list• You probably also want to add them to a

“Business” list• Click “Add to another list…”

Add To Another List…• After you click “Add to another

list…”, another box will pop up• Tick “Business”• Tick any other relevant lists (as

desired)

another box will pop up• Tick “Business”• Tick any other relevant lists (as desired)• You can also add a new list here, eg I

create lists for my friends in business-related Facebook groups, so I have a record of how I know them

• Click “+ New List” and a text box opens up for you to name it

Create New List

• You can also create a new list from the main Facebook sidebar.

• Find the FRIENDS section in the sidebar on the left of your main Facebook page.

• You need to be using a desktop computer for this.

• Hover over “FRIENDS”• Click on “More”, when it

pops up, to bring up the following page…

Create new list• Click on the create List button• A Create New List box pops up• Name the list• Add people to it if you wish (this

can also be done later)• Click create• And Bob’s your uncle, you have a

new list!

Posting To Your Chosen

Audience• Once you have added your

business contacts to lists, you are now in a position to share your posts with just business or just friends or both

• Click the “Friends” button to the right of the “Update Status” box

• A menu pops up where you can select who to share your post with…

Audience• Select “Business” to share with only

your business contacts• Select “Friends except

Acquaintances” to share with only your close friends & family

• Click Friends to share with everyone• Or Public to share with the entire
