HOW DID YOU USE MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES IN THE

CONSTRUCTION AND RESEARCH, PLANNING AND

EVALUATION STAGES?

During my research I used the internet to help me find out information about existing magazines such as their codes and conventions and their target audiences. I found that magazines Media Packs were very helpful.

I used social media site Facebook to contact me focus group for help all the way through my production.I either used my laptop, my mobile phone or my iPad to talk to them on our private group.

I also used Blogger to post all my research, focus group comments and mock ups.

To present my research and these evaluation questions I have used Slideshare an Prezi. Slideshare is easy to use as you just press the upload button and choose what powerpoint you want to use. Prezi is a bit more complicated as it is a lot more technical but once I got the hang of it I was fine.

To create my website I used website creator site Wix which was easy to use as it offered me lots of templates to use so I picked one and added my own text and images in.

I used photoshop to create my magazine front cover, contents page, advert page and my billboard. This is my second year using photoshop so I found it easy as I learnt most of what I need to know last year.
