Pond5.com is a web-based stock footage marketplace and community of filmmakers, stock videographers, musicians, photographers, designers, and audio professionals. It’s a great place to find and license stock footage or audio for use in your productions, or to upload and market your own work for use by others. All of our clips are downloadable and available immediately under a royalty-free licensing agreement.

Who sells on Pond5?

Any copyright-holder of high-quality footage, audio, after effects templates and images including individuals, companies, and organizations, or their authorized representatives. If you are unsure about whether you are legally allowed to upload content to Pond5, do not upload.

Does Pond5 check for copy right?

Yes. Submitter must have rights for distribution to the submitted imagery. Found or public domain images or illustrations cannot be submitted under any circumstances. If you do not have complete rights to the submission, you may not submit it.For submitted work that contains any copyrighted material including paintings, other copyrighted photos, copyrighted logos, or any other art/advertisements/sculptures/exhibits which are copyrighted, you must either submit releases from the copyright owners or you must note to the curator the images are editorial.

Our industry-standard royalty-free license agreement allows buyers to use footage in a wide variety of ways in their own work, across multiple projects, for a one-time licensing fee. Basically, you're granted non-exclusive perpetual use of the footage across a wide array of media, worldwide. Most uses of our footage are acceptable under our license agreement

How do I purchase clips?

Once your clips have been selected and added to the cart, simply log into your account and click "checkout" and check out like you would for any online purchase, using paypal or a credit card. Our system is pay-as-you-go - you only need to purchase the clips you want, and will not be required to pay for additional credits, or a subscription package. If your company does not support paypal or credit card systems, you can start the process for setting up a Purchase Order system by sending us an email .

• Overall has a good mix of videos, photos, illustrations, SFX, Music, 3d and after effects.• Good if we want to create custom videos and make videos for brands / clients

ourselves.• Pricing may be an issue as it may turn out to be costly if we buy many things to

compile one product. (Video/photo etc.)• Overall it’s good, but reviews state that iStock is a competitor that’s better than Pond5.• Definitely better than Shutterstock per se.
